This is Erie's best Indian food! Authentic cuisine and generous portions. Service is cordial and attentive without being in your face.
very friendly staff, service was great food was even better. Highly recommend.
I visited Tandoori Hut Indian Cuisine today with my wife, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We were surprised and disappointed by the unexpected buffet pricing. We only ate rice and chicken tandoori, yet we were charged a total of $39.80. When we raised our concerns, we mentioned it was our first time visiting—and it will also be the last. It’s hard to understand how a restaurant expects to build a loyal customer base when guests feel misled and overcharged on their very first visit. So I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve transparency in pricing and overall customer service.
It is definitely not traditional type of food. Menu is definitely decent size but they don't cook everything how it supposed to be. All though service was great. Maybe they aren't getting decent amount of business.
Outstanding food. Buffet is 11-230pm, about 15-20 bucks a person. Absolutely worth it. On weekends sometimes they have biryani!
Great menu. Lovely owner who took the time to answer questions and treated us like family. Delicious food.
Going out for Indian food has always been a staple, no matter where we lived in the world. This was by far the worst experience.
The restaurant itself has an uncomfortable atmosphere and was run-down looking.
Food was okay but not freshly made. My sauce had a soup like consistency, very different from my past experiences (I always order the same), and most likely had glutamate in it, because I had a reaction to it right away. Overall taste was good though. Served on plastic plates!!!
Service was a tad unpleasant, as they came to our table every 10 minutes, asking if we wanted anything else, trying to take plates, wouldn't let us enjoy the food in peace. Then, asking three times if we wanted to-go boxes, each time we said no, they still brought them. The whole time it seemed like they needed the table, and tried to rush us out.
Had hoped this would be our new go-to place but now I don't feel like I ever want to go back. Everything else could have been overlooked, but the pre-made food was a bummer.
Tasty food, chohle bhature mind blowing.
Eating Tandoori Hut food is a real treat! We get take out, delivery, and do eat in. Love the lunch buffet!!! Never had a bad dish although occasionally the tandoori chicken tastes left over. Be prepared for a bit of a wait - give yourself an hour from the time you arrive or call, but know that they are making it fresh and delicious for you.
This is my first time trying Tandoori hut. I try the Fish curry and Garlic shrimp curry.
Both dish comes with a lot of rice to go with.
I do enjoy the taste of both dish, though I find that the shrimps texture are quite mushy, and to me it feels like the shrimps are not fresh. Their naan is also very bland.
I would not recommend getting their shrimp dish. But I will try out their other dishes next time.
The staff is very nice. They offer dine in and take out, although there are not many parking space in the back.

A Disappointing Tandoori Hut Experience
Excited to try Tandoori Hut for authentic Indian cuisine, we were immediately met with an outdated decor, but decided to give it a chance. However, the lack of service was a major disappointment. We waited for an extended period before anyone acknowledged our presence. We eventually had to call the restaurant to get any attention. This poor service continued throughout the meal, as no one checked in on us.
Our main hope, the tandoori chicken, was a complete letdown. The dish was incredibly dry, greasy, and tasted stale. The rubbery texture was off-putting, leaving us hungry and disappointed. It's unfortunate that such a fundamental dish was so poorly executed.
This place is easily the best Indian restaurant in Erie, and it might well be the best restaurant period in Erie! The food was exquisite! Delicious! Simply phenomenal. Incredible value as well for the quality. A must visit!

I am a newbie ordering Indian food. Waitress extremely helpful and pleasant. Chef also came and went over menu. Aloo Gobi was my order with a side of rice. Generous portions. A bit spicier than anticipated. Asked for a piece of Noor bread…waitress told me it’s made with milk (am vegan). She brought me small dish of fresh fruit. Cooled me right down! Learned something while eating lunch . Will definitely make a return visit . 👍👍😋
