I've eaten there before, and I truly enjoyed it. But I just found out they started a lunch buffet at the beginning of 2024! A couple of coworkers who didn't k ow what to order were convinced they should check out the buffet so they could get a better idea of what they like and know what to order next time. Watching people's eyes light up as they tasted something new and found it to be delicious was fun!They have loads of vegetarian options if a bit limited on the buffet (but there is always a fruit and salad bar), so there is literally something for everyone.Finish off your buffet visit with mango pudding! What a sweet treat! I'll definitely be back to enjoy the buffet now that I know they have it! As of mid-March 2024, their website lists it as 11-2, Monday through Saturday.
I never know what is what with Indian food so I went to the lunch buffet. Absolutely amazing! There wasnt a a single thing I won't be returning for more of. Check this place out. You will be happy you did!

Perfume in curry.Food:Navratna kurma and Palak Paneer was extremely bland and heavy on perfume.Need to improve the flavor in curry.Chana Masala was extremely tangy.Bhatura was smelly and soaking in oil.Naan and Dal were fantastic.Jamun was also good.Service:Even though servers have no idea of Indian cuisine, their service was excellent. Very positive experience.Ambience:This place has bright lighting and feels very refreshing.Most restaurants in Erie are dark and low lighting which can be depressing.Might give this another try if they change their taste.

Came here just to try it and we had a wonderful experience.We a great conversation with the owner, who was a wonderful person with a great personality. She really was fun.I had seafood masala, garlic naan, and we shared a veggie app sampler. Everything was just so good.We each only ate half our meals and had to convince her that we were actually full, she was concerned maybe we didn’t like it. We were happy we get to take some home for later!Highly recommend this place. She mentioned she might be starting up a buffet soon, which we were stoked about.

My husband and I live 3 blocks from Tandoori hut and have been getting food from here for several years now. We have NEVER gotten a meal that was even just "ok", they are all amazing!!!They have a wide variety of Indian region cuisines and they make everything fresh when it's ordered (so expect at least a 45 minute wait for pickup), and it makes the food so much better and SO worth the wait.Also, everyone who works there is always so pleasant to talk to, from ordering over the phone to being in person in the restaurant.We love Tandoori Hut!

After sampling a few of their curries for lunch over the span of a few months, my wife and I decided we absolutely had to come sit down and experience this incredible food from the fire to the table. To say we had the best dining experience EVER would be an understatement. The server was so kind and attentive. Their House Special will be something I would recommend to anyone. An array of the most delicious and tender meat I've ever had. The chicken, lamb, and shrimp were mind-blowing and if you're not mopping up your plate with their house naan you're missing out. The Seafood Makhani was sooooo creamy and flavorful it should be illegal. We will be back and I will harass everyone I know until they try the best food in town at Tandoori
