Ordered wings on wing night (Wednesday).
Either the oil was too hot or cooked for way too long, wings were almost inedible.

Will not go there again

We ordered a 14 inch cheese Chicago style deep dish at 3:45 for 5:50 pick up. “Yes,10 minutes to 6”. Arrived at 5:47. The Za was ready & sitting on the bar. Drove 4 minutes home. The pizza was room temp. The paper under the pizza had disintegrated. The box had turned to mushy wet pulp. I think the flavor was probably good based on what little we could eat, but I would never again order this to go. Overall, a big inedible disappointment.

Thank you so much to the cab for being the quintessential townie bar when I needed it the most. It was the Wednesday before Valentine’s Day, and I have been working overtime at the florist, after taking a friend, some flowers I decided to pull into the car spa and give my car a wash. Because my phone is my car key (first world problems) the death of my phone battery locked me out of my car with a thin coat on in freezing temperatures, with the added water from the car wash. I walked through slushy snow with no sidewalks on a busy street to the nearest open business, the cab. It is literally the most quintessential Erie local townie bar I’ve ever been to here in my hometown. Even though I was dressed in floral pants, lime, green shirt, and hot pink beanie hat… when I walked in I felt most of the room looked toward me because I was def not a regular and I don’t think it’s frequented by queer radical artists often. I was treated with nothing but kindness and respect… even morbidly curious about why I would be in the space. After have a beer and some wings and fries and of course a battery life on my phone…I was offered a ride back by the DJs generous and fabulous wife.

In short, it’s exactly what you wanted to be, it’s quirky, the food is great, the people are real, come as you are! I would’ve never come to the Cab, but I’m glad my auto mishap showed me this Erie gem!

Some food was spoiled. It has been awhile since I've been there and it's not high on my list to go back soon.

This place is a joke. I ordered wings and they were still cold. The new management/owners ruined the cab for us

We used to love coming here and were excited to try it under new ownership. We stopped in tonight for dinner, sat for 15 minutes, and were never even greeted by a server. We waited because there was a server who brought food to a different table and exited back into the kitchen, presumably to get something that was forgotten. But when another server greeted a table that sat down 5 minutes after us and started talking to them as if they were friends (knowing what grade their daughter was in), we became irritated. The first server exited the kitchen and immediately began cleaning tables. I understand clean tables are important, but it’s probably more important to greet customers that are already seated and offer service. We left without talking to anyone and won’t be repeating this experience anytime soon. Super disappointed.

Brought my family in last Saturday from out of town and we were all extremely disappointed. This use to be one of our go too places. Our server had no knowledge of the menu. I asked what the flavor of 3 different wings was and she told me it was a wet wing. That is not a flavor. I moved on to something else. We ordered an appetizer and it came out with our meals. All of our food was barely warm. It had definitely been sitting in the kitchen for a long time. My cousin ordered and IC light and she brought him an IC light mango. He did not want IC light mango and was not told they only have mango if that even is the case. Food quality has definitely gone down hill along with the service. Super disappointing because this was definitely a go too but won’t be anymore.

The food was forgettable, and my wings were served cold. The combo appetizer was missing two items, which we had to wait on. It took at least 15 minutes just to be acknowledged after being seated, and after drinks were delivered, not a single server checked on us for another 20 to 30 minutes. There were only nine tables and at least six servers—there’s no excuse for service this slow. Getting our food took forever, and after asking for the check and a box, we sat for another 15 minutes before I gave up, went inside, paid at the bar, and grabbed my own box off the counter. Absolutely disappointing and unacceptable.
