⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars: Tipsy Bean Cafe - A Hippy Hill Gem!
Tipsy Bean Cafe is exactly the kind of local spot I love finding in a cultural hub. Located right along Hippy Hill, the vibe is cozy, creative, and completely welcoming—from the colorful exterior mural to the chalk wall showing off their specials.
What I Loved:
The Coffee: I had their specialty Nutella Latte (the Nutella Mocha Latte, really!) and it was perfectly balanced—rich, sweet, and with that extra hazelnut boost I asked for. A truly indulgent drink!
The Food: I enjoyed the homemade Crustless Spinach and Swiss Quiche on site. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect homemade bite.
The Soup: Since the weather is getting cold, I took home a bowl of the Rustic Chicken Soup. It’s clear everything here is made from scratch with quality ingredients—this soup will be perfect for a cozy night in.
The Service: The staff was incredible! They were super friendly, helpful, and even took the time to snap a photo of me, which made the whole experience feel personal.
Bonus Points: I love that they have a loyalty program! I'm already looking forward to earning my next free drink with their point system.
If you're looking for great homemade food, stellar service, and a coffee shop with true local character, this is your place. I highly recommend stopping by Tipsy Bean Cafe!

This is what local coffee shops hope to become. Fun Christmas coffee drinks and very generous breakfast wraps. Very well priced.

Always a personalized experience! Lattes my fiancé and I were given shortly after our engagement. The baristas are friendly. The in-house roasted beans make the best coffee in town! Flavor syrups are also homemade and their taste shows.
Every item for purchase is made by the owner from scratch with love and local ingredients!
The staff is dedicated to bring the best experience possible daily. A female owned business that’s evident it’s had heart and soul poured into it.
They even have an account on the app “Joe” to order ahead & earn points for the loyalty program!

Loved this place! I will return and try other dishes asap. Today’s order was the Paris vegan soup which included potatoes and was very tasty and the Eeyore shake which included Ube and blueberries.
After I saw a not to miss travel tea steeper that I didn’t want to pass up.
We stopped in on our trip back to New England. The vibe was so cozy and welcoming. Parking was also super easy. We got their Kanga latte and a Rabbit Chai. Both were absolutely delicious. They also have ube for smoothies which is amazing! I also looked into their local teas and jewelry that they had and was very interested.

Awesome dish
Cool coffee shop that roasts their beans on premise. The Bellweather roaster is a cool bit of kit. The pastries and treats looked yummy. There were many different brews too choose from but I had a cap to go. Nice pull, little bit of art but I am not a fan of oily espresso roasts. That kind of burnt roast hides the flavor of the bean. Local art and ceramics for sale at reasonable pitches too!

What an amazing place! They had so much to offer! Breakfast quiche, oatmeal, sweet treats, and lots more. Lots of gluten free also! We tried the biscotti and honeycomb cake. Both were soo good! We also had the quiche (crustless and gluten free). It may have been the best quiche we have ever had.

Super cute, friendly and happy vibe coffee shop. With a gorgeous little “hidden gem“ garden, right out back. Little quiet, green oasis in the city.
And the breakfast wrap and coffee is A++

On our road trip from Texas to Niagara Falls, with a final stop in Pittsburgh, we stumbled upon Tipsy Bean in Erie, PA, and it was hands-down the highlight of our coffee shop stops! This gem blew us away with its exceptional coffee and bakery goods. I highly recommend trying their chaga mushroom chocolate blended with espresso—it’s an absolute game-changer, bursting with unique flavor. The outdoor butterfly garden was a delightful touch, offering a serene spot to savor our drinks and treats. Tipsy Bean is a must-visit—well worth the stop for an unforgettable coffee experience!

This was such a cute little shop. We talked with the barista here for a while. They have amazing GF options (which was one reason we went here). It’s nice to have options when it comes to being GF.
