Reviews are correct, portions for the price are really good. However, you also get what you pay for.
The family universally panned the dinner as the worst Chinese we have ever had. The General Tso's Chicken sauce was ok being on the sweeter side of versions we have had but within range however the dough balls with chicken bits looked like meatballs and tasted worse with very little chicken.
The lo mein was passable so the highlight of the meal.
The Hot & Sour Soup was terrible and visually unappetizing. It was pickup so the soup wasn't super hot when we got it home 10 mins later but as I poured out some into a bowl it didn't pour but fell out in large gelatinous clumps. I did try warming it to fix the viscosity but that didn't save it and had no impact on the lack of flavor.
I don't have an alternative option to recommend but unless you are solely trying to maximize calories per dollar, you are better off anywhere else for dinner

The place stunk pretty bad and the food tasted the way it smelled. I couldn't even eat the food. The general tsos scared me bc when I bit in it, It looked pink like pork and smelled like pork. It also had random fluffy stuff in it which im hoping was batter (more than the actual chicken) . The people seemed nice but the food really grossed me out and im sad I paid 40 bucks for it.

My family orders from Yummy Bowl on most special occasions. Since we are a big family we have special occasions quite frequently. Our order is always huge and when I pick it up it is always perfect and done in a timely manner, (it sometimes does take more than the 20 minutes it says when you order online if they are busy, but if I cooked that much food, it would take me hours!) It is also always so delicious. Yesterday it was my choice for Mother's Day and they even put a special little cake in the order for me. We really love Yummy Bowl!

Chicken tasted old and stale. Seemed to be baked chicken nuggets rolled in general Tso sauce. Rice was stale and gummy. Egg rolls are baked. Not much flavor.
Best place in Erie for real! They take pride in their food and it's always 10/10... love these guys!
