“My dad was celebrating his retirement and wanted to have the family together for dinner. He reserved a private room that seats 8. This was around the holidays. They had the table set beautifully with their holiday menus already waiting for us. A few of us tried their holiday cocktails and some stayed with the regular menu but both were delicious. We had a wide range of food choices across the table and everyone had great things to say. When time for dessert, we all opted for something different. The crème brûlée was out of this world along with their espresso martini. It was everything my dad had hoped for!“

“Wow! How did I never hear about this place?! Staff is welcoming and professional, and the food is awesome! I had this amazing chocolate, strawberry latte, which was SO good, I'm actually getting thirsty now thinking about it! I got the Thursday Taco Special, which was excellent, but now I can't wait to go back to try the quiches, croissants and home made soups. I took a loaf of the cranberry walnut bread home, and after my husband ate 3 slices, he asked me to never bring it home again- ha! Now I can't wait to try their chicken salad sandwhich on that bread! What a great little place! My new favorite!“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pronto! I started with a chocolate martini which was delicious! I got the chicken Pronto, my husband got chicken Dijon, my friend got veal marsala, and the fourth person got fish. All four of us enjoyed our meals very much! That doesn't happen very often! The food came out in just the right amount of time and they were quick to refill what we needed and cleared our dishes promptly. We will definitely be back!“

“We ordered lunch today from the Lemon Drop. Had the cod special with Manhattan clam chowder. Our first experience there. Picked up the meals in front of the shop. A sweet girl brought them out to us. The food was excellent! Actually more than we could eat. We will definitely order from there again!“

“Went here for the first time in several years. Food was amazing! My wife had the penne pasta with olive oil and garlic and it was absolutely delicious. I had crab cakes with baked potato and french onion soup. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had. The baked potato was cooked to perfection and the French onion soup was to die for! Our daughter raved about the panko shrimp also. Others in the group that went with us all said the same thing the food was amazing. They even had a flatbread pagach because it was a Friday in Lent. Highly recommend this place. If you haven't been there in several months or longer by all means give them another shot because they are fantastic!“

“This is one of my favorite places in Wilkes-Barre. The staff is really friendly and we never feel rushed. The round pizza has a thin crispy crust and a unique mix of cheeses. The Sicilian is thicker and chewier but not too dense or greasy. The salads are fresh and the soups are clearly made in house. My Mom loves the French Onion. To top it all off, the prices are great. Highly recommend.“

“We had delivery to our hotel....a chicken Parmesan dinner, and a margaretta pizza....both were absolutly superb!! Chicken very tender, sauce really tasty ...garlic knots and salad...yummy. 2 calzones....we wish we lived closer, but will be back when we travel through again. “Today was my 1st visit. It was amazing. I have celiac so I got the gluten free pizza. I told the young man who took my order and he was extremely understanding. They made my pizza in front of me and made sure I knew there was no cross contamination. The pizza was perfect. My family tried it and said they didn’t see a difference in taste. The size of the pizza was bigger than we expected. This was my first pizza in months and it hit the spot. My family had normal pizza and had no complaints. The gluten free pizza is an additional $3 but honestly for me it was worth it to finally enjoy pizza and not be sick.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free crust is great. It doesn’t have that dry taste that gluten free bread has. My pizza had a crunchy finish to it but that’s how I enjoy my crust even before being diagnosed. I prefer a thin crust. I got white pizza and this was the first time I had it since being diagnosed. Absolutely delicious“
