Han Dynasty is an elegant, dim retreat from the traffic and busyness right outside its doors. I was immediately brought hot tea and a welcomed tall glass of water by an attentive, yet not imposing server. I ordered the Fried Dumplings and the Hot, Dry Pepper preparation of Shrimp.

Han Dynasty is an elegant, dim retreat from the traffic and busyness right outside its doors. The restaurant offers really amazingly delicious food for a great price, with huge serving sizings. The food has always been outstanding, delicious and flavorful. The service is attentive, yet not imposing. A very nice older man provided a delightful experience with true restaurant proper etiquette and customer service. The restaurant is family owned but professional.
Specific meals mentioned include the Fried Dumplings, which have a savory pork filling in delicate pastry that was steamed and then flash-fried for a crispy texture. The Hot, Dry Pepper preparation of Shrimp features large, juicy shrimp expertly deep fried and then sautéed in spicy oil. Other dishes include cumin tofu, dry pepper tofu, ginger style duck, dry pepper chicken, and dried pepper chicken with authentic cooking style. The egg roll is made in-house with better batter. The pea shoots were excellent, and the Kung Pao was excellent. However, some items were inconsistent: the chicken fried rice had raw texture and bland taste, the Won Ton soup was tasteless, and the hot and sour soup was soy sauce heavy without nuance. The shrimp fried rice was also soy heavy and not good.
