“I haven’t always had positive experiences with staff or service at Taco Bell/KFC locations, but today I went through the drive-thru with my partner at lunchtime and had a wonderful experience thanks to the young man who took and fulfilled our order. My partner often feels anxious in a drive-thru and avoids them due to the pressure to make quick decisions and the potential impatience from the team member taking the order, but felt none of that today. The young man was extraordinarily kind, calm, helpful, and polite; of course, our order was correct and quick (plenty of napkins and sauces, too) despite him likely being the only one inside the location working on the 4th of July. He then wished us a happy 4th of July and we were on our way. The interaction left us musing about how lovely he was and that was all it took to change the trajectory of our day for the better! We are hoping to be back at a time when he’s working again!“
