Food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding. Got the Filet, and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Highly reccomend.
After being quasi-forced to go to another restaurant in town that rhymes with pork and is way more style over substance, I was reminded of how great Peppinos is. Every dish I've ever had here is outstanding: flavorful, generously portion, well plated. No surcharges for every little thing, including bread and butter.

Peppino's Italian Chop House provides a warm and inviting dining experience suitable for various occasions. The food is generally good, with dishes like blackened salmon and delicious stuffed banana peppers with sausage and red sauce. The restaurant is small and nicely decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere despite some noise from the acoustics. It is only open four nights a week, Wednesday through Saturday, for dinner service, and reservations are made by calling and leaving a message, with a callback for confirmation. Guests enter through the patio on the right side and then through a side door. The staff, including a standout server, is friendly and attentive, offering good customer service. The chef and owner interact with diners, adding a personal touch. Notable dishes include a filet with scallops and Chicken Marsala, which are highly recommended. Desserts like Tiramisu and cannolis are also very good, with some guests still having room for sweets after the meal. The restaurant is considered one of Erie's better dining spots, although prices are higher, and the wait times can be long. Overall, Peppino's offers quality food and a cozy atmosphere, making it a worthwhile visit for special dinners or casual nights out.
