We were in an inside/outside banquet area. It was nice. Not sure if the food was from there or catered, but it was good, su I'm not going to rate it. It was a Thanksgiving menu, the stuffing was surprisingly good. They kept drinks available and were available at a cash bar.
Perfect spot for a dinner stop. About a mile off of the PA Turnpike. Everyone was friendly, the locals even offered to shift so we could join them at the bar. The TV was showing a minor league baseball game (Altoona Curve). Service was great. They make everything fresh. Hope to return on a future trip.
Perfect small town bar experience. As we walked in, everyone at the bar looked over to see who was coming in. I was so surprised, I just smiled and waved. Most of them waved back, and I knew I was in a good place. The bartender was super friendly and helpful. We ordered food, with was FANTASTIC. Made sure to give out compliments to the cook! All in all, a wonderful surprise on our long drive. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will DEFINITELY come back!
