This place has become such a nice café and the coffee/food was great! Over the years it really has evolved into one of Ohiopyle's best breakfast places. If you are in the area definitely check this place out!

Came here after FLW Fallingwater tour (highly recommend btw) and was immediately impressed with the cozy space, real plants & pumpkins, fall themed decor and their pay it forward wall. It was a Saturday morning and we enjoyed what we ordered, everything was fresh!

Avocado toast with eggs was very good Belgium waffle was ok, fruit overly sweetened & pricey Coffee ok but expensive $46 for breakfast for 2 is just crazy $4.77 for one cookie, just nuts bought on the way out… so $51 total No reason to go back with those prices The cat is awesome!!!

First of all, what a great name for a cafe. As we arrived, there was already a line but it moved quickly and we'll worth the wait. Food was delicious and the environment was perfect, quaint and beautiful.

We got there at 2:30pm, thinking we had plenty of time to eat a late lunch and make it to a nearby 4:00pm tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Waters. Silly us. We were in line for 50 minutes. Also, after people ahead of us ordered, you could tell that their orders were taking a long time to come out. My wife and I kept cutting back our intended orders to focus only on food that could be prepared quickly. By 49 minutes of waiting in line we were down to two side orders of cole slaw to go. At 50 minutes we reached the order stand. The woman taking orders just walked away to do something in the back. There were staff walking by the cashier station—they didn’t stop. The woman who had been taking orders looked out at us and the 10 or so groups of people in line behind us. She couldn’t have cared less. After standing at the order station for 5 more minutes, with no one coming to take our order, we had to leave. The service (if you can call it that) was indifferent and needlessly slow. Basically the slowest and rudest my wife and i have ever experienced. The food looked good but we’ll never know. We’re not going back there again.

Cute cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very mediocre and expensive. Service was OK, but the wait time to order was long. This will be a one and done for us.

In response to the owners comment, I never displayed an attitude. I never raised my voice. Not sure where you got that impression. I'm not sure how someone would not say anything about getting food they didn't order. And you had plenty of time to come to our table and talk to us after my first inquiry about our order. The young lady at the counter was professional. Think about what I said before assuming I included everyone.

Yesterday, October 11th 2025, some of the staff at your restaurant decided not to make our food and left us waiting for over an hour and a half. I was polite when ordering and our food order was not complicated.
Were our camping outfits not proper enough for you? Was my shirt slogan off putting? Was it because we are both minorities? Why did you treat us this way?

MY WIFE HAS STAGE 4 CANCER.

All she wanted was breakfast. She had insisted going to your establishment.

How did you treat her: you kept her in the sun for over an hour and a half while we waited, you humiliated her by preparing and serving several customers in front of us that had ordered way after us, you devalued her by not offering us something as simple as a free drink while we waited, you stressed her out by leaving us wonder whether we'd be served or not.

My wife and I are spending precious time together and you dared to try and ruin it.

Whomever was in on this action, you are disgusting human beings with no moral compass.

I will never step foot in either of your establishments ever again.

It's a Saturday, we got here at 1:58pm and got in line. There was no one at the register, it took until 2:27 to finally order. Our drinks (a smoothie and an iced tea) came out at 2:55. It is 3:18 and we are still waiting on our food, avocado toast and a grilled cheese. Ok, it came at 3:20. The avocado toast was pretty solid if ridiculously thin, the grilled cheese was just fine. It seemed like the bottom was buttered but the top wasn't.

Upon arriving I was super excited to try this place out. The scenery is absolutely stunning! The inside is beautiful, clean, and the decor is fabulous! We waited in line for about 15 minutes, and when we finally got to the register the lady just walked away. Whenever she came back we ordered two peach teas, “The Bird” (no tomatoes), “Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese” & crème brûlée.My friend tipped 15% on this order $60+ total… We then got our number and were told they would find us. We have a seat and our peach teas came out very fast. (Not worth the price) (Taste could improve in my opinion) We then sat there over 30 minutes, I watched people that were in line with us get their food and leave by time we got ours. I asked a lady at one point if this were normal because we didn’t order alot and were confused how this worked. She said that is how it is on Saturdays, which okay but why wouldn’t you want to communicate to new customers? When the food arrived , I was really disappointed. I said to her, we didn’t just spend $60+ on this did we? I’m all about spending money if it’s worth it but it wasn’t. My sandwich had no taste (the bird) however I tried my friends & hers was delicious! I love the fact they use fresh ingredients but if I ever return it will be strictly to just try their coffee.

I'm always critical with my reviews. I'm especially tight-fisted with 5-stars, but in this case I have no choice — everything's absolutely stellar!! Loved the service; the setting and atmosphere are exquisite; and the cold-brew iced coffee I ordered was one of the best I've ever had!

I’ll start with the positives: the place itself is absolutely beautiful. The décor, location, and scenery are stunning, and the outdoor areas are peaceful and enjoyable. The staff were friendly, everything was very clean, and while the food itself wasn’t anything remarkable, the ingredients were fresh. The late summer tomatoes on my sandwich were especially delicious.

That said, the overall experience was disappointing. My husband and I ordered two lemonades and two sandwiches, and our total came to $51, which felt steep for what we received (especially the extra charge for lettuce on the sandwich 🙄). We waited in line for thirty minutes before ordering from an obviously overwhelmed employee, then another thirty minutes just for our drinks. By the time our food arrived, we had been waiting nearly fifty minutes at our table. It seemed like the workflow in the BOH was chaotic and unorganized.

In the end, it felt like this place prioritizes style over substance, and while it has the potential to be great, our experience left us dissatisfied.
