Braddock's Restaurant and Tavern

The seating was terrible , people lined up for ice cream on both sides of us and another couple. Squished, hitting our table , knocking my purse down. Not sure why they would set things up that way. Food was ok- but pretty disappointed over all. Will not go back.

I'm certain this establishment gave me Montezuma's Revenge as I've been here on the toilet for 72 hours and counting.

Was seated. Restaurant wasn't even half full. Sat at table for over 20 minutes. Waitresses walked by us numerous times without acknowledging. After being there for 15 minutes, another couple was seated at the table beside us, within 3 minutes, they were being waited on. Decided they didn't want our business. Stopped at hostess station on way out to let them know what had happened, did not offer to remedy the situation, so we left. Guess we weren't one of their regulars.

Fantastic food huge good portions. Would definitely return.

The Restaurant is a great place tk hang around with family/friends/partner. The afternoons and evenings of weekends are their busient hours and you mught have to wait for 30 mins or more to be seated. The food is average, i found them to be more salty, however, the Burgers and Sandwiches are exemplary. There is a wide variety of meat yo try and also there are options for seafood and fish.
I do not take alcoholic beverages but the bar provides ample option for drinks as well. The service is so cordial and the ambient will provide a great hangout vibe. Overall I like it.

Groups of 8 or more pay an automatic 20% gratuity. Service was good, food wasn't bad but could have been better. We had a big group (24 people scattered) and 4 of us sat at one table. I ordered fish sandwich and was given a Philly Cheese steak. When I asked if the always cook the fish that much to turn it brown (joking) the waitress said I ordered the steak sandwich. My friend did ans was given that but I did not. All 3 others at my table agreed that I asked for fish. I opted to just eat the steak, but it was dry. Unlike any Philly cheese steak I'd ever had. So I order fish, get served the wrong thing and was still charged a 20% tip. That pisses me off, sorry but not. I would eat there again, but would be very selective and only accept what I order.

The atmosphere in the place reminded me of an old log cabin. It had a very welcoming presence. The service was great, and the lady who served us talked to us and made us feel right at home. The pulled pork is smoked in house and with cheddar, it was one of the best pork sandwiches I have eaten. I substituted fries for a baked potato, and the baked potato was cooked to perfection with lots of butter being offered. They also offer handmade jewelry at the entrance of the restaurant.
Overall, this place should be on one's stop going down historic US 40.

Waited about 20 minutes to get seated which was fine and outdoor waiting area was nice. Food was very good. Cheese logs was really good. Chili was okay, meatloaf was very dense but really good. Having it wrapped in bacon didn't seem to do much but I love bacon so it was a plus. All the sides were tasty. The standard Old Fashion was solid. Steak was cooked perfectly as requested and flavorful.
