Way overpriced for the quality of the food. The waiter gave us the impression he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. He had no personality. Venison course was good but halibut was fair. The gnocchi course was warm and mushy. The corn chowder was tasty but also like warm. $500 for 2 without alcohol. Very pretty room. Spend your money elsewhere.

Service was great and nice room. But must admit the food lacked a certain sophistication of flavor and texture. Bread had soggy bottom. Intermezzo was sickeningly sweet. Overall meal was good, but not great. My understanding is that chef changed in past couple years. Perhaps this is the issue

Had the 5 course tasting menu. The service with Lisa was outstanding. Everything was impeccable except the shrimp was tough. The price was higher then any meal I have had. It was a once in a lifetime meal for me. $700 for two with a bottle of wine. But happy I got to do it. An amazing experience.

Very expensive, but the food is very high end and very good. The staff was also amazing.

Fabulous tasting menu in a very sophisticated setting. Go at sunset and expect that at least one bite will make the experience memorable.

What an amazing meal! From the excellent service to the outstanding food, everything was on-point. We absolutely loved the homemade kombucha for an intermezzo and the candy cart at the end was the perfect finishing touch. I would highly recommend this experience for any special occasion.

My wife and I were here for our 31st anniversary. Atmosphere of restaurant was 5 star from the start. The explanations of the menu and the options was throrough and staff were very friendly and attentive. We did not know exactly what to expect with the portions of each course, after the experience, don’t be fooled by the smaller portions. Although i did eat it all, i actually felt like I had overeaten. Each course was unique and excellent. Everything was well seasoned and the choices of the ingredients were all things that we were familiar with so it had a more comfortable feel while eating. We were happy to taste salt in the dishes……it seems to be a missing ingredient in many dishes today. Every selection was perfect and we enjoyed each one. The meal was finished with a candy tray…..very cool and unique. Enjoyed the experience. It was worth the $$$.

I have been at Lautrec several times and have developed an appreciation for the continuous quality of its cuisine, drink, and service. Lautrec aims high. At my last visit I enjoyed a caviar flight of stairs – excellent in quality and heavenly in its presentation, along with a flight of champaign – champaign from vintage years. For (us) caviar and champaign lovers a grand start to dining. The burrata that followed had a subtle taste and was piped onto the plate rather than served in a ball. Presentation was lovely. Next came Seared Foie Gras. I love Foie Gras in all forms – cold, fried, etc. - and was tremendously happy with the refined taste and presentation of this seared version. Next came Tagliatelle with Porcini mushroom cream. Yumm! For our next course we opted for a Crispy Skin Wild Striped Bass dish, which was subtly prepared and interestingly paired with Celery root puree, compressed daikon and Sauce Américaine. Very nice! For the meat course, I had opted for the Roasted Duck Breast but as I had informed the kitchen that I do not like the taste of anis (fennel was part of the dish) Chef kindly had another option available. Alas, something told me that Chef would reinstate my faith in fennel. And I was right! Fennel was used to underline the duck flavor and not to dominate or stand by itself. I was so happy! A glass of warm Apple Cider guided us to the dessert course for which I had chosen a Yam Casserole that came with Swiss meringue and candied cinnamon pecan. What a combination! Excellently put together! Was it worth the time and money? Oh, yesssss! Chef Al Ateem provided exceptional, various, and varied culinary pleasures and his team provided personalized and first-rate service. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks!

Despite window tables being open and the restaurant being less than half full, we were given a table in the middle of the room. The 7 course meal had 2 worthy dishes. The foie gras was flavorless and room temperature mush and the yam casserole was inedible. The waiter made us feel rushed and was clearly in no mood to repeat himself or answer any questions. Meanwhile his assistant was rude and clearly hated her job. We are not opposed to paying a lot for a nice meal, that was NOT what this was. Want a good meal? Go to Rockwells. Better food. Better service. A third of the price.
