Easily the best dinner I have ever had. In fact, it isn’t a “dinner”…. it’s an experience. My wife and I loved Lautrec for our anniversary dinner. The menu was personalized to us and Terry was great. It was a highlight on our Nemacolin trip.
Way overpriced for the quality of the food. The waiter gave us the impression he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. He had no personality. Venison course was good but halibut was fair. The gnocchi course was warm and mushy. The corn chowder was tasty but also like warm. $500 for 2 without alcohol. Very pretty room. Spend your money elsewhere.
Service was great and nice room. But must admit the food lacked a certain sophistication of flavor and texture. Bread had soggy bottom. Intermezzo was sickeningly sweet. Overall meal was good, but not great. My understanding is that chef changed in past couple years. Perhaps this is the issue
