I’ve been to this place quite a few times and am never disappointed. The jerky is fantastic, and flavorful. Be careful, it’s addicting and hard to not eat the whole bag in a single sitting. Also, the ground maple sausage is the most flavorful sausage I’ve ever had. The hot dogs are great in texture, juicy and less greasy than other brands I’ve had. All of the steak and chicken are great cuts and quality meat. I wish I lived closer to this place, but I always stop in on my way from New Jersey to West Virginia to visit family, so I’m thankful it’s on the way.

As out-of-towners, we were pleasantly surprised with the kindness and hospitality of the staff (owners). Very helpful and generous. They also gave us tips on the surroundings. A pleasure to do business with. We will be ordering for shipment to our home in Cleveland.

If you are adventurous, this is probably the place for you. Price point is higher but it is a specialty store. I did think the one sign was aggressive tho

i stopped here for the first time this past weekend and picked up some honey glaze jerky and brazilian coffee beans… HOLY MOLY IS THIS JERKY FANTASTIC. i will be making a pit stop every time i visit ohiopyle from now on.

Go here! Peppered beef jerky has very good flavor - right amount of spice. Applewood smoked bacon is some of the best bacon ever.

What a great find. The food was excellent. I had pan fried halibut with ratatouille, which you won't find on many menus. Husband had salmon which was delicious. From salad to dessert everything was good. And speaking of dessert, you have to try the Italian cream cake. Prices were reasonable and if you don't want a dinner entree, you can get burgers and other sandwiches and salads. The restaurant is in a building built in the early 1800's and the rooms were lovely and seemed to have some furnishings from that era. The service was excellent. Jamie was very knowledgeable about all the menu items and checked on us several times throughout the meal. Can't ask for a better combination. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

Always make a stop here for jerky steaks and other stuff... staff is always super friendly and helpful.... don't pass it up

We had the most amazing porterhouse steaks cooked over the campfire. This is such a great little butcher shop, I sure wish it wasn't 2 1/2 hours away from my home! This is our second time buying meat and other goodies from here to enjoy while camping in the area. Both times the steaks were exceptional! Oh, and let's not forget about the cake pops, they were sooooo good!
