Only place I found in Chambersburg that has good pizza that doesn't taste like marinara sauce. Everything I've had from there has been worth going back and service is always good. Hard to find a menu online so there ya go.

Great food, friendly service. I got a tuna sub. The boardwalk fries we ordered were tasty and a huge order. My wife enjoyed her cheese steak sub.

I overheard a waitress being so ignorant to a family with 3 children. She made them seem like they were an inconvenience to her job. It was completely inappropriate and you should consider who you have waiting on your customers.

I hate to even have to give a review like this because I've heard nothing but great things about Maria and Sal's. Unfortunately that is not what my family and I experienced. My son who is Autistic had turned 13 today so he picked here because he loves cheesesteaks and wanted to try somewhere new. Upon arrival it wasn't busy at all; only one other table was seated and this was approximately around 2 in the afternoon. We asked for a table of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) and the waitress told us with an attitude, while rolling her eyes to wait at the front while she got a table together for us. The immediate attitude should've been the first indication to leave. After she sat us she continued to treat us as if we were an inconvenience for her to have to wait on us. She made the entire experience completely uncomfortable by how rudely she spoke to each of us throughout our visit even though we continued remaining polite towards her regardless of her attitude. As if it wasn't uncomfortable enough, then my Autistic son (the birthday boy) tried striking up a conversation with her, and he doesn't talk to people easily so that alone was outside of his comfort zone. She looked at him when he started speaking, rolled her eyes and walked away in the middle of him speaking to her with zero acknowledgement. I instantly spoke up to her as soon as I saw her do that to him and proceeded to tell her how rude, and unkind she was towards us. She immediately started apologizing, and did a complete 180, but it was too late at that point. She tried backtracking but at this point we were already finished with our food and she ruined the entire visit for us regardless of her being apologetic at the end of our visit.I have never been treated so poorly by a server in my entire life, I work in the food industry, I have for years and would NEVER treat my customers the way she treated us. Not only did she ruin my child's birthday lunch, but she also left a bad impression on my other two children who had to witness the disgusting mistreatment from someone who works with the public. My parents also drove 4 hours from Delaware for my sons birthday and it was completely miserable for them too.We all have bad days but you don't need to ruin other peoples days simply because you are having an off day yourself, especially when there are children witnessing this disgusting behavior from an adult. My kids always make it a point to show kindness bc we are domestic violence & trauma survivors and we show people respect. We know what it feels like to be treated like dirt and we have Complex PTSD from years of abuse. Thankfully I am in full control of my PTSD and my kids know how to handle themselves better than a grown woman apparently does. Not everyone has full control like we do and next time the people might not be so nice over the situation.Moral of the story....a complete stranger ruined my child's birthday simply because she doesn't know how to properly check her emotions at the door. A lot of us are out here struggling with mental health issues, but that doesn't give someone the right to treat paying customers like garbage over whatever it is they're going through, or treat people like that period on, or off the clock.

What an amazing experience with a take out order earlier. Great establishment with very friendly workers and a lovely owner! And then there’s the food! What a huge serving of French fries! chicken cheesesteak sub was delicious and stuffed with meat and fillings, and my husband’s cheeseburger sub had a very thick and delicious burger! Would definitely recommend this place and will be eating there again!

Insanely delicious pizza loaded with toppings. Never under or over cooked.Salads are made with ice burg lettuce, but always very fresh and loaded with toppings. Wings are awesome, fries not bad. Meat used for cheesesteaks is very tender and flavorful.Service is good, although we always get take-out. Food always hot and fresh.Prices are reasonable for the quality. Sub prices are a little high I think, considering there are lots of places to get subs in the area.Owners are extremely nice and appreciative of their customers.

Saturday, Jan. 20th approx 6:30pmShould be 5 stars, but customer service ruined it.I was craving a cheesesteak so we decided to try Maria & Sal’s, food did not disappoint. However customer service needs some work. We looked the menu up online to see what they offered. I get plain cheesesteak with mayonnaise, online menu $6.75 my husband gets a cheesesteak special, online menu $7.99 & of course an order of fresh cut fries, online menu $3.25. I place the order, we choose pick up. My husband gets the order and tells me the bill was $25.00. I was confused. I go inside to ask about my bill. The waitress read me my charges: Cheesestk w/mayo $7.99, Cheesestk spec. $9.99, FF $3.25, side of pepper relish $1.99. I questioned the pricing and left her know the online menu has different pricing and they may need to up date it. She told me they don’t have an online menu, other people post it. Then gives me a menu and says here’s our menu. 3 waitresses, 1 didn’t even look at me, 1 look completely dumbfounded and the other who thought she knew everything was absolutely clueless. Whether a customer post it or the business, the menu is still online and should be corrected. But the pricing isn’t even what upset me. The poor quality in customer service, not 1 person out of the 3 standing there even so much as offered an apology. I love supporting small businesses & I completely understand their prices can tend to be a be hire. I don’t mind paying for good food! But customer service speaks volumes. (I was a waitress for 30 yrs, an apology goes a long way).
