I have definitely been here after a cross country invitational. I’m not sure it’s open yet, ice cream is generally seasonal. We have the same exact place in Elmhurt with the same exact name next to our gas station. I’m looking forward to warmer weather when my sunglasses don’t get so foggy from the cool weather. I can’t wait to go to our Twist N’ Shake.
The ice cream is always phenomenal, and the amount you get is great for the price. The first time I ate here, we also ordered chili burgers with cheese. It was juicy and flavorful. The second time (with new owners), the chili was good, but the burger was dry, hard, and tasted like sawdust. I'll probably try the chili burger one more time to see if this was a one-time thing or if the food is just not good anymore. I'd still recommend this place for ice cream, though.
Very nice staff and ice cream menu. Toppings taste like cheap candy. I wouldn't go back just because my banana split wasn't very satisfying, my friend was there and agreed with the quality/ taste of the ice cream and toppings. I Don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I kinda felt like I got taken on this one...
