A hidden gem in Fort Washington. One of the best cheesesteaks I have had in a long time. The seasoned fries were great as were the homemade chips.
I am 100% coming back with the family too as the menu is diverse and kid friendly.
It was nice sitting outside at the tables as well!

The pork w/rabe and the French onion steak was as 🔥 as it gets … I almost didn’t get the nachos cause I’m cheap and they’re pricey but the meat nachos were bangin and worth every cent !

I know this is outside of Philadelphia so when reviewing a cheesesteak, one must tread carefully. However, I have no reservation in saying this is one of the best steak sandwiches I’ve ever had. Absolutely zero negatives. Perfectly fresh seeded roll, I haven’t come across any gristle, I added cooper sharp sauce for my cheese (just right cheesey to meat ratio) and the fried onions which are both excellent; the sweetness of the onions comes through nicely. I didn’t take a picture but it wasn’t necessary, whatever you’re picturing in your mind is exactly what you’ll get. I ordered a “Regular” and it is HUGE, already cut in half which was super helpful. Please do yourselves a favor and order a sandwich from here.

Sum Pig came highly recommended and I was excited to check it out.
The 12-inch cheesesteak was absolutely loaded with meat and onions. The cooper sharp cheese was minimal however, so the sandwich relied on the meat and onions to provide most of the flavor, which isn't my favorite scenario but luckily they were high quality. I poured cheese wiz from my fries on and it took everything up a notch.
The (ranch) seasoned fries were also good but the cheese wiz stole the show here. Very good.
Overall, Sum Pig is the real deal though more cooper sharp cheese on the steak in the first place would have elevated this. Next time I'm going cheese wiz on the cheesesteak and that should do the trick.
Place is tucked away but this is a gem! Food is amazing! Be prepared for a long wait time though. Placed an online order never got a text it was ready had to go to the pick up window. Food was still fresh. Only outdoor seating unfortunately (for winter) but 10/10 food is amazing. Top 5 cheesesteaks. Philly caliber
