I stopped by to to have breakfast on my way to South Carolina when I left my car didn't want to start the staff there welcomed me and my family in as if they have known us for years went above and beyond all expectations as far as reaching out to local friends to help me get back on the road I recommend this place to everyone and anyone the food was great!!!! The atmosphere was amazing!! I live almost 2 hours away from the diner and I plan on going back any chance I get absolutely amazing people and a beautiful little town if I could give them more stars I would and again I say thank you to the staff and locals that helped us on our travels.

Ordered the two eggs, home fries and toast asked for extra onions and was charged $2 for a little bit of onions , found hair in my potatoes totally turned my stomach and stopped eating … will never go back worst place I’ve ever had breakfast at ! Wanted to try it out because I heard they were a great breakfast restaurant…. Found that to be be wrong

Small town feel. Awesome service! Great food and nice customers also. Met an hunter and tracker. They were extremely nice and polite. It was busy and portion of food was big and also delicious.

The food wasn't season.. steak was not medium rare very little portion for 15$ it is not worth it.Customer service sucks.. i should have been greeted the moment i walked in the door. The other people were greeted.. food didn't look good enough to eat in the container never again..

Ive come to lewies for YEARS and its always so hit or miss. When its hit, its great. When its miss, its a complete and utter disaster. The omelets have raw uncooked ingredients. Im a person who doesnt like crunchy/crispy food and ask for everything to be light...and i get light about 20% of the time when ordered. I feel like when I order light, the staff laughs and makes it darker/crunchier on purpose.Some staff is alright, but they change hands what seems like weekly. The staff that are ignorant seem to somehow last longer, and those that are nice run for the hills.No signage posted- but was stopped dead in my tracks and shouted at loudly at me "NO OUTSIDE DRINKS" in the employees(Linda) horrible demeanor, where everyone in the establishment turned to look. I felt like a small child being reprimanded in front of the whole class. She could've been professional and polite, and said "excuse me ma'am, im sorry, but we dont allow outside drinks"Owner should wakeup and see his employees SUCK.*also, when we walked in the door, the woman at the first work station, was wiping her nose and then went back to work...never having stepped away to wash her hands. The encounter with Linda happened immediate following. I feel like she should be advising her coworkers of proper hygiene in the food industry, versus embarrassing me for a coffee.
