You don't have to go to Hazleton, Reading or Wilkes Barre to experience fantastic food. Its right here in Frackville. Where else can you go where the food is prepared by the owner himself and doing it for many years. All the food is authentically Italian with that "Taste of Italy". The wife’s owner will greet you each and every time and make your luncheon and dining experience a very pleasant one. You will not be dissappointed!!

My wife and I were working in Barnesville, PA and we asked our customer where is a good local place to eat. He recommended OIP Original Italian Pizza which was about six miles away. OIP is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great food, bottled beers, wines, and drinks. They have a simple menu that has something for everyone. You can have a delicious and fabulous meal coupled with warm, friendly, and fast customer service. The establishment is definitely a popular place with the locals and it is definitely a refreshing change from the chains!Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the host and owner, Enza. She was very friendly and she had a very welcoming demeanor, a genuine smile, and she was very pleasant and professional. She immediately asked if we would like anything to drink. My wife and I ordered a Coke with no ice as well as a water with no ice. I told her that our customer referred us and told us to mention him by name. Enza immediately know whom we were speaking about and indicated that he was just there yesterday.For our entrees, I had originally ordered the Tuscan Salmon with Veggies. However, I asked Enza, "What does Mike order when he is here?" She replied, "His favorite is Sausage, Peppers Classico, Zesty Marinara Sauce." She then described the meal in detail and I said, "I will have that with salad with Creamy Italian Dressing." My wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana with Broccoli instead of pasta. Enza immediately brought out house made fresh baked bread with butter. Everything was absolutely delicious and both meals were prepared, portioned, cooked to perfection, and were served hot. Enza was very attentive, friendly, and efficient. In short, the great food and awesome customer service made for a great dinning experience!We will definitely be returning here when we are in the Barnesville, Pennsylvania area!Parking: They have their parking lot. Be sure not to park in the parking lot of other establishments to avoid a tow!

We came across this wonderful place quite by accident. The fish my wife ordered and the Sicilian pizza I was served were absolutely one of the best meals one could ever hope for. The waitress was wonderful as was the service. If you like Italian food this place is a must to visit. Next time we are anywhere near this place my will most definitely be back.UPDATE, we came back tonight 11/25 and once again the food was AAA ++ and our server Enza was certainly one of the best I have encountered in my 65 years. We look forward to our next trip up from mid Delaware to enjoy this wonderful Italian eatery once again.

If you want the BEST experience, Original Italian Pizza Restaurant in Frackville is the place to go! It consistently serves the BEST grilled salmon ever, best homemade Italian dressing and best homemade bread served warm!!!!!!!!!! Everyone Eric Ziegmont and I take there has the BEST experience and we are all in agreement that the food is fabulous! Enza is an angel and brings exceptional customer services to a whole new level! Her kindness, warmest smile and genuine interest in everyone who comes into their restaurant is heartwarming! Family-owned, Ross, Enza and their daughters make dining out a memorable experience! I ordered a Greek salad with Salmon and asked them not cook Salmon well done and it was well done. There excuse was, they wrapped it in foil and that made the Salmon cook to well. I was there on time and his excuse was that I came 45 minutes, really such a lie.

Ordered a turkey sub with light OIL, had a sweet Italian dressing type on it instead ate half the sub n felt nauseated right away, my friend got a cheesesteak and was very little meat on it and she only ate half and got nauseated as well, ordered a vegetable soup with the sub and it should have been called zucchini and spinach soup as that's all that was in it so I didn't even touch that. Asked for an iced tea and got told they have none that they only have coffee and coke products, but then offered the next customer a sweet tea. Needless to say by the time we got home 30min later we both ended up in our bathrooms vomiting and have the runs. I will NEVER eat here again. It was out right disgusting...

This place can’t be serious. I expected more with the good reviews. The chicken in the chicken blush was hard as a rock and not even seasoned, the blush sauce tasted like mushrooms which doesn’t even make sense. The chef salad portion is sad for $12. The chicken in the chicken cheesesteak was absolutely disgusting made with old chicken.EDIT: My mother in law called after the owner commented and said we can have our money back. As soon as she called the owner was screaming like a maniac on the phone that we must take down the review to get our money back. He said “people like us” are “ruining the country.” We were willing to work with him and my poor MIL just wanted to talk to him and all he did was scream and hang up the phone on her.
