Got her from out of state hoping to have a nice experience the only thing served to me is the opposite we get there at 7pm sit down at our table took quite awhile for us to even be acknowledged once we were the waitress was less than nice at first I thought probably a long day but then we see her being extremely chatty and nice to regulars at the bar we wait for quite a long time about an hour and 30 min once the food had arrived it was cold on some parts and warm on others meat was overcooked and chewy and we constantly had to flag down a waitress to even attempt to get a refill on a drink all of then should be fired.

Waitress was absolutely no where in sight unless you wanted a lime in your drink your out of luck the food alone took an hour or more to come out and then had a hair and it and was partially cold I have no idea if its because we wernt from here but people came in 20 min after us and got served before us

Food is mediocre at best. Service can only be described as abysmal. Appetizer took over an hour. Meal took an hour and a half and wasn’t even warm. Utter disappointment.

The wings here are definitely awesome. Normal flavors, along with some odd ones. I will be back, especially for the pickle wings 😍

We went for taco night and got the platters and wings. Wings were average sized wings with not very many flavor options. We did book a reservation and when seated there was already a place card for the next reservation. While I understand and appreciate that they booked the table in the next time slot and make us aware, it was off putting. We waited about 45 minutes for wings and 6 taco platters. The soup was just ok, the street corn wad terrible, unlike any we've had anywhere and we are all lovers of it. The general tsaos taco was great, the chicken bacon ranch tacos were excellent, beef tacos were ok and others had plain chicken tacos and said they were ok. The place is small, parking isn't great, and the food was not complicated but took a really long time. If I was in the area already I'd have the chicken bacon ranch tacos -but we won't go out of our way to return because it was just ok.

I generally have a more than satisfactory experience at compass rose. Today I ordered to go for the first time - I asked twice to be sure I was getting the taco night platter special. When I arrived, I was told I ordered two tacos. I explained to the server that I said twice I wanted the platter on the phone to be sure they understood what I wanted. The server said maybe they misheard. No offer to fix the mistake. I waited tables for years. I never complain. How can you not offer to fix it - I would have paid for the platter. This is very very poor customer service. If there is an issue with hearing on the phone bc it's busy and loud there, you should be reading back the order and confirm. This was very lazy and how you lose customers. Really disappointed. Maybe it was a bad night...

While I love the Compass Rose, I was a little disappointed last night (3-26-24). I stopped by at 5:00, after North Schuylkill track meet. I was asked if I had reservations, I did not; thought I was beating the rush at that time. About 5 minutes later I was asked if I could come back later. I couldn’t, I live a half hour away. She told me that she don’t have anything available. There was a table right next to where we were standing that was reserved for 6:30. I asked if we could use that table. She told me no because we wouldn’t be done in time for the reservation. Now, I waited a bit for my food there on several occasions, but never spent an hour and half in there for 2 people to eat 3 tacos. I would’ve gladly packaged up whatever food we had left to make sure we were gone by the 6:30 reservation, but I wasn’t given that chance 😞. Still love the place and the food, just wasn’t happy that a worker knew how long it was going to take me to eat and denied service.
