My family drove from New Jersey to Ohio. We left early in the morning and Esther's Restaurant was our first stop for food and restrooms. The server was incredibly kind and helpful; she was unusually solicitous of the children's needs. This is one of the places that, if you are in the area, you have to stop and try it. It can easily fit 6-7 trailers on the parking lot. My omelet with veggie and bacon was tasty, with no oil in the food. Portion is very generous and cheap compared to other 'franchise' dinners.I tried waffle with blueberry. I was happy with the choice I made. Waffle was crispy outside and almost hollow inside.

Nice stop along our way through Pennsylvania. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with fries and I had the chicken pot pie special with a side. My mother made chicken pot pie similar to this when I was growing up (a long time ago.) I enjoyed having it at Ester's. Excellent service, too. Thank you!
