Stopped in at the historic Riverside Inn for lunch and sat outside on the brick patio under a colorful umbrella with beautiful landscaping to admire in our surroundings in view of the river with its heavy recreational traffic from nearby Green Cove. The inn and hotel were built in 1903 and the bar area sports a large wooden bar that came upriver on a barge from New Orleans and was installed in the inn. Food was great. Prompt breakfast service, given an unexpected amount of people showing up at same time. Huge perfect pancakes, reasonable prices, and all the food was prepared perfectly.
