A cute and comfy local coffee shop that's nice to lounge and chat in. The coffee cake in the window looked fantastic. The iced lattes we got though were just alright, not the best brew and flavor, and the breakfast sandwiches were honestly bad. Overall a cute shop with room to improve!

If you need a place to grab a quick cup of your daily delight, be it coffee, matcha, tea, or lotus drinks, this is your place. But you need a place to sit with your drink and relax? This is your place.
You need to do some computer work away from home or the office? This is your place. You can get something to eat should your stay turn out longer than you expected.
There are also some items to purchase to carry over the vibe to home, be it 1833 merch or some tea or unique note cards or even a plant! On a nice day, you MUST sit outside and enjoy people-watching and, again, the gorgeous plants that surround you. Honestly, every time I walk up to 1833, I feel like I'm looking at a quaint cafe in a small European town. Nothing but good, positive enthusiasm exists here.

The people, the coffee, the atmosphere are all excellent! 1833 Coffee Shop is the gem of this small town with a beautiful view of the Allegheny River as well as convenient access to the rails to trails network.
