They feed my latte addiction every week! Some places make their lattes super sweet and it almost tastes artificial. NOT THIS PLACE! The balance of flavors in their drinks and their seasonal menu items are top notch! Great job by the entire staff at 1833 for making this place a hometown favorite.

We LOVE 1833! My husband and I make a point to get 1833 every weekend, the drinks and food are always wonderful, and the atmosphere is very friendly and community oriented. Karen & Virginia truly take pride in everything they do!

My favorite coffee shop to visit! Everything I have ordered has been fantastic and the baristas are so sweet! You can't find two better business owners than Karen and Virginia! They are SO kind and so fun to be around. I'm so happy 1833 exists!

I love this coffee shop! The space is adorable, the staff and owners are warm & welcoming and their drinks are delicious. They have a standard menu available year round and do seasonal drink specialties. They also are very involved in the community and sell items made by local independent businesses owners. They offer a small selection of baked goods and pastries to go with your coffee, yum!

There are places that you go, not just because of the product or service they provide but because of the community they evoke. Like your church or the library of your youth, 1833 makes you feel seen and valued. Every server is welcoming, the space is sunny and inviting and the tea (especially the Earl Grey) is delicious. Whether you call Freeport home or are driving through, treat yourself to a cup of something cozy and experience community in it’s truest form.

Awesome corner coffee shop in Freeport. My friend and our dogs stopped here after a walk at the Freeport Park. Great selection of coffee, teas, and seasonal drinks. They also had homemade pastries (like muffins, coffee cake, cookies) available too. There’s also locally made gifts to purchase, such as towels, house plants, flowers, etc. A few tables both inside and outside to sit and enjoy your beverages. Our dogs got pup cups and they came topped with a homemade dog cookie! Would recommend if you’re in town to stop by and grab a coffee/tea.Parking: Street parking available with lots of spots.

I always experience friendly staff here. I love that they keep the menu fresh by rotating in and out different drink options, while also keeping the standards you would expect.
