Gap Diner Family Restaurant

I was up in Amish country for a little R&R and a friend who lives in that neck f the woods suggested meeting at this place for dinner. Like the other reviewers pointed out, it's an old timey diner with that old timey diner vibe and look. We went on what turned out to be the last night. OK, it's an old diner, dating back to 1959. It looks it. My first time there, my wife was there years ago. Stopped by for lunch last Saturday on our Fall Foliage Tour (one week too late). Seated quickly. Server was quick. My wife had the Patty Melt, I had the Corned Beef Rueben. Service was fast! My Rueben was fantastic, with real sliced corned beef, not the grocery store deli kind, and my wife's patty melt was cooked to order with sauted onions. And the fries were terrific. Great Diner. Have come here multiple times- another great visit. Breakfast all day long! Love Diners- typically lots of traditional Jersey diners eaten at and this one lines up to them. Old school style but clean. Must stop in!
