Their menu is massive . . . annoyingly massive. I do not want to have to read a novella in order to decide what to eat. It is also so large that they cannot possibly do everything well. It feels like they value quantity over quality. My au jus sandwich was bland and disappointing.

Great service. We had our breakfast served within 3 minutes of ordering. I always order a specific way for my eggs and no one ever does it correctly, except Village Gap Diner!

Based on the reviews, Village Gap Diner offers huge servings of very good, home style meals. The breakfast is cooked quick and hot, with great coffee, eggs done perfectly, homefries with a nice brown crust, and big fat fluffy pancakes. The menu has a large assortment of various plates of food, and it would be hard to not find something you want. The Italian wedding soup is really homemade and fabulous, and the cheesecake is a MUST HAVE. The desserts are beautiful, and the peanut butter pie was delicious. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and pleasant, with fast service. The diner is clean and bright, with a good honest friendly atmosphere. It offers the best breakfast cost and quality.
