“Friday fish fry was so busy on our first visit to schoolhouse and the hostess was so good and kind! We got a table dispute not having a reservation and had some of the best fish in the area! Great wait staff was running her butt off and just as great as could be! I almost don’t want to recommend them Koz they’re already so busy but they are excellent!”

“I give the food 4 stars because I always test each Chinese restaurant for their General Tso’s chicken dish. If the chicken is not crispy, then the sauce and the chicken should’ve been presented separately even if it’s takeout. No one in PA has survived that test yet. Also, there should be a tang from the vinegar that stands out and again no one in PA has reached that level.However, based on the taste and experience of the local residence, this is a five star to them. So I see both sides. However, if you are well traveled, this is a three star restaurant regarding their food.Parking: They are usually parking spots to park at, but may have to park further down the street during peak hours.”

My Husband had a meat lovers omelet. The food came out quickly. It was hot and tasted good. They both came with home fries which were very good also. The proce was fair. The only thing I can say negative is that the bread was paper thin.”

“Found this place while looking for a diner to have breakfast. I am 64 and this was the best breakfast we have had dining out. I had the breakfast meat omelet. Took up the whole plate and the flavor was fantastic. My wife had the vegetable omelet. Again huge and full of peppers, onion, mushrooms and tomato. Add to this the best homefries I have had in a diner in a long long time. Needless to say we will be making this a regular stop.”

“I live in Jim Thorpe and work in Bethlehem. On a morning when I’m running behind or I didn’t get breakfast, these guys are a life-saver right on my commute. Their bacon, egg, and cheese is awesome! Great coffee and friendly folks. Only complaint I’d have is that it can be a little slow getting your food, but it’s never been a deal-breaker. Always happy to support a small business like this instead of going to the gas station or convenience stores.”
