“My daughter and I dined here yesterday for the first time and enjoyed our experience. The service is lovely. We particularly liked the chicken shawarma, falafel, and hummus, but I gotta say, the star of the show was the pistachio cheesecake. Wow! This is a family owned and run business, and, if I heard one of the employees correctly, there's a certain family member who makes the desserts. So good! We'll definitely be back!”

Since I’m a nube with this style of food, and always a bit cautious when going to new places, I was pleasantly surprised. Will def be returning when in the area.”

I took my girlfriend in there last night and it was so cool. Everyone was singing with the jukebox laughing and having a great time. Going back tonight for karaoke. “On New Year’s Day, while trying to find someplace open for breakfast, we stumbled into Hug in a Mug Café and met Barbara and Zach. What a great find in tiny Weissport. Egg and bacon on sourdough, fresh pastries, Americanos, and lattes - we were hooked! We also appreciated their knowledge of food allergies and their gluten free desserts selection even more. So glad we wandered in. We’ll be back!”

“Will not being going back after my husband and I recent visit. After being seated and waiting more than 15 minutes to be waited on while a waitress walked by us twice ignoring us and two other couples came and were seated near us and were waited on right away, we walked out! No one said a word. Another turn off, there obsessed with vacuuming and sweeping the floor. Yes l like a clean restaurant but not vacuuming or sweeping done by our table while were trying to have a peaceful meal and dust blowing around in the air. Wont be going back.”

“We had hot pretzels with beer cheese, a cheesesteak, and a mushroom burger. The food was outstanding. Came out promptly, was super hot and fresh, and everything tasted great. Burger was big, beautiful, and delicious, the meat was unseasoned, which is not a complaint, I needed to salt it. The mushrooms were canned and I greatly prefer fresh, but that's a small thing. The pretzels were amazing, it was 3 sticks, could've given a 4th considering it was over $8, but they were fantastic. Cheesesteak was a little above average, no complaint. The service didn't suck but could've been better. Server kept disappearing for long stretches, wanted a drink refill and waited over 10 minutes until someone ELSE walked by. Atmosphere was pub-like, kinda loud and some inappropriate conversations between bartender and patrons, loud enough for all to hear. Didn't offend ME, but would have been uncomfortable if underage folks had been with us. Overall very good, would definitely go back!”

“I’m not local to this area, but stopped in today while visiting a relative who recommended it. There are so many interesting flavors, it was hard to choose! I ended up getting Peanut Butter Crunch Explosion in a waffle cone. I’m normally not a PB ice cream fan, but this flavor was perfect and even tops my all time universal favorite, Moose Tracks. The waffle cone was delicious and you could tell it was homemade. I also picked up some Cake Crunch topping from their selection of toppings and premade ice cream items. They had a lot to choose from! I’m unsure of the name of the young lady that helped me, but she was very kind, patient, and pleasant to interact with. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!”
