We don't live in the area and didn't even know this place existed until another plan nearby fell through and we needed last-minute dinner. Fortunately they were able to squeeze us in without a reservation--it is a very small place! Charming restaurant in an old house, with a garden out front. There were so many delicious items on the menu, I chose to get two appetizers instead of one entree so I could sample more. The Polish potato dumplings with rabbit were hearty and flavorful, and at least for me were actually large enough to be a decent entree themselves. But I'd absolutely go back just for the roasted carrots with ricotta, snap peas, and hot honey. Very friendly and attentive service. A real gem.

We had a meal here back in December for my mothers birthday. The service was welcoming and friendly and explained the menu very well. The food was excellent and the wait time was great. The restaurants farmhouse setting was the perfect theme for the evening.

From a mention on local food group, we decided to give it a go. I phoned Catherine (co-owner/hostess), secured a second seating reservation and arrived to a antiquated farmhouse n the rural countryside. Our rockstar server, Jenny accompanied by Kai and one other, hustled through the dining room to ensure quality, on pointe service. The brunch price fixe menu of $49 offered some interesting choices. The server poured two glasses of sparkling wine with cranberry juice instead of the champagne advertised online. First Course: Smoked duck breast bits over fried potato pancakes was worst course. The presentation and taste was not differentiated due to over cooking. Second course: Crab/tenderloin Benedict was ordered medium and arrived medium well. Jenny told me she'd return for another Benedict of desired temp but my husband swapped it from me for the 3 meat Wellington. The filet was tendered but the temperature hinted at a piece of meat that was cooked to medium rare and then continued cooking was evident. Lastly, the chocolate mousse pie tasted rich and decadent. First Course: 3 Tempura battered mini lobster tails, absolutely fried to perfection, moist and delicious Second Course: the 3 meat (sausage, bacon & ham) encrusted in phyllo served with sautéed potatoes, rough chopped red bell peppers and onions. Perfectly baked for a satisfying breakfast My dessert choice of tres lecehes packed to go. (the whipped cream melted in the car and liquified on bottom of bag) It was a pleasant experience, the scenic ride there was nice and the staff was awesome. Enjoy photos

New Year’s Eve brunch price fixe $49 Second SeatingA shout out to the serving staff: Jenny, Dee and Kai hustling about the dining room with timely and on pointe serviceMy first course: smoked duck breast over potato pancakes was only underwhelming dish due to charred bits of duck and the potato pancakes were over cooked! My second course: 3 meat Wellington in tender crust accompanied by sautéed quartered potatoes, red bell peppers and onions all fresh and tasty. My third course of rich chocolate mousse topped with fresh berries and whipped crème. Definitely decadent. My wife ordered the Tempura mini lobster tails as first course and she loved every fried bite!!She relinquished her second course to me due to the filet was not cooked medium to her order. The Benedict: well done filet (ordered medium) with fresh crab doused in hollandaise sauce was immediately traded for my Wellington as I love my meat well done. The filet was barely warm indicating initially cooked to a lower temp then re-cooked according to diners’ preference. Her third course of gingerbread tres leche was good.It was a relaxing atmosphere and new experience.

11/2023 This place was incredible. I had no idea how good food could be until I ate here. And I have eaten at some good restaurants! Go try it and you will be amazed as well.We went there for a birthday dinner. I got the mushroom soup which was incredible. The little bread that came out baked in the terracotta pots was cute. For dinner I got the shrimp and scallop risotto. It was literally the best thing I've had in years! I am not exaggerating.Parking: Gravel lot.

The food was delicious but our waitress was abrupt and not friendly. That sets the tone for an enjoyable evening. Would definitely go back but hoping to next time be greeted in a more warm and professional manner. Had the service been better, they would have earned 5 stars.

The best food prepared with the utmost care and wonderful presentation. We had a wonderful waitress that was very professional. Great drive up the mountain road, beautiful scenery. The exterior denies what wonders lay inside! Really chic decor.
