Beautiful place to grab a drink with great food, beer, and distilled drinks! Love the general manager- she’s incredible!
A group of us went there yesterday and as soon as we walked in the door one of the women working there yelled at my husband as he didn’t know where the men’s room was. We then went around to the bar and were trying to figure out what the system was and were yelled at to move over and let others order. We had JUST walked up! My husband and I decided what we wanted, went to the window, and she asked us if we were all ordering together as separately was going to be a huge problem for them. She said “you need to just order drinks and we’ll figure out you all ordering food at the table”. I was about to order the drinks, and before I could tell her, she walked away. The entire time she was not being pleasant about it. We all felt so unwelcome we left. As we were leaving she said “we have set up a table for you”, which made no sense as there was already a table large enough for our group of 9. We left, went to Appalachian Brewery and had delicious food and a wonderful experience. They were extremely friendly!!!
Went here with the wife for our last night in Gettysburg. The building is a relic, and with me being a history nerd, i was amazed by how well kept everything is. They had a line dancing event going on, and it was loads of fun. The food is excellent. Bought a flight of whiskey. Their bourbon needs some more aging, but loads of potential there. The rye whiskey on the other hand is really really good. They have something going with that. I'll definitely buy a bottle next time I come down. It was a great night ending our vacation in Gettysburg.
Rented a van to go to Gettysburg and tour the scenery, have dinner, and finish our night with drinks at battlefield brewery. Before we even got out of the van, an employee came out to meet our driver and turned us away because they assumed we were drunk. Beat thing that ever happened because we went to Thirsty Farmer down the road and had a much better time than we would have.
My husband, parents and I dropped by this really cool brewery and had a wonderful experience! The lady working the counter was friendly and she was working alone but made sure she checked with everyone to see if they needed anything! A great place to go hang out for a couple of beers! Thank you for your hospitality!
beautiful barn with a lot of history. great good and drinks as well!
Loved the atmosphere and bartender was personal/quick with service.
Outstanding atmosphere Great old fashioned dining experience with top notch food like my grandma would make I really got into the 1863 style architecture Like jumping into a time machine
Although I did not care for my beer, the building was historic and beautiful. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
Always a pleasure to come here during bike week. Awesome food. Awesome drinks. Awesome customer service. The kitchen owner is always trying to outdo herself and make your experience unique and great. Can't wait to see what she brings out for next year.

We stopped for lunch. The old barn was cool but the place wasn’t very clean and the bathroom definitely had a problem. There was only one person doing it all but I must say she did it very well! The drinks were okay and the food was good. The place reminded me of a bar for people to visit in the evening for food, drinks and dancing to all hours of the night.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great drinks!
It was very busy when we arrived on Sunday but we were seated right away. The server Adam was a pleasure to speak with and was attentive to all our needs. Food was good as expected, environment was pleasant. Overall I would recommend them and will go back again. If I had to find something to improve on it would be the menu needs a few more options but thats according to my tastebuds!
So much to love about Battlefield Brew Works/Distillery. A+ drinks, people are amazing, setting is super cool, live music, and tasty food! We will be back!
They need to become a little current with the way you order and pay for your food. You have to go up to a counter to order your drinks and food but the waitress/cook/manager insisted that we combine the bill because we sat together. What kind of sense does that make? Also bring your food to the table but nothing more. If you need silverware or napkins, you have to get it yourself.
