I had previously eaten here in steak night and it was awesome. This time I had to wait 1 hr and 15 minutes for a table because people just sat at the bar and tables long after diminishing eating just to eat watch a ball game I guess. I was seated under an air conditioning vent which was running due to many bodies in the close space. Once I got my much anticipated blue cheese butter Ribeye steak, it got cold pretty quick and was way more gristely than the one before. It was disappointing after the huge wait. I dont know if I'll return or not.

Let's start off with the incredibly rude hostess. If you hate your job, find a new one. Don't throw your rudeness onto guests. It will certainly stop us from coming back.

The food was decent. Not what it was cracked up to be or at least fell short of it's reputation. Waffle fries were cooked to perfection.

Service was extremely slow. Almost too packed for a smaller place. Seemed like everyone was too stressed. Nevertheless, this place is always busy.

I've had just below average experiences here. Hmmmmm

Great place to eat and hang out with family for a great evening. Had the Rockfish and Onion soup, and it was awesome. Drinks and appetizers were also spot on. Our server was very personable and very nice. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and will be back again.

Parking: There is plenty of parking in the lot or garage.

This place is a must-go-to for anyone in or visiting Gettysburg! The owner is very kind, my servers were quick and friendly, and the burgers? OMG gotta be the best I've ever had. Love the Gen. Henry Heth and sweet potato fries with an appetizer of their grilled cheese bites or musket balls............mmmmmmmmmm. The bar gets very busy, especially around Halloween, but it is more than worth the wait!

This place is usually packed, and for good reason. They have some of the best craft burgers in town. My only wish is that they had a second location because this one fills up fast! The General Harry T Hayes is my favorite burger.

We decided to go for their advertised wing night on Wednesday 10/16. Knowing they get very busy any day of the week we were prepared to sit at the bar but to our surprise there were still a few tables open and I was grateful for that because upon entering the bar side smelled of sewage. Once seated service was fast. We put in drink orders and food immediately since we knew we wanted wings. Now I appreciate fast service but knowing wings take at least 8-10 minutes in the fryer and the fact that there were a good amount of customers inside, I was prepared to wait a little. Well to my shock I see our drink orders coming and also two orders of wings. I think to myself, they can't be our wings, it's been barely 5 minutes. Yep, they were ours. Room temperature and probably cooked 20 minutes before we got there. Look I understand that you probably get a lot of wing orders and try to keep ahead of the game but that's ridiculous. To add insult to injury the garlic parm wings I ordered were just covered in some kind of Alfredo sauce. Not even a hint of garlic or parm. Upside they were .70¢ each and seemed good quality. Also the $7 lager pitcher was a good deal. I'd like to come back on a non wing night just to see if they're as good as people say but I was disappointed to say the least.

Fun atmosphere, great service. The grilled cheese bites are to-die-for good! (They are happy to leave off the bacon for vegetarians, and there are a decent amount of other options for these eaters.) And you can't beat the selection of delicious burgers.

Vegetarian options: They are happy to amend dishes to be meatless, if possible.

You couldn't pay me to go back here to eat. Server was horrible ... Completely inattentive and horrible with communication. Items ordered were never delivered until we asked about them. Drinks took forever. Wings were subpar. Never again

Blue & Grey Bar & Grill in Gettysburg is an awesome dive bar right in the heart of town. I had the brisket sandwich, and it was fire! The atmosphere is great, with friendly staff, affordable prices, and plenty of locals, which makes the experience even cooler. The downtown area is charming, and everything is within walking distance. Definitely worth a visit!
