This Dairy Queen used to be unique and stick out from all the rest I have been to. It was locally owned and operated, or at least that was my impression, by the same man (John) who was there for decades. They had several signs on the walls for various blizzard flavors, and tons of other blizzard flavors available that didn't exist at any other location. However, I took my family there 2 weeks ago and was so disappointed. First thing is, the prices are crazy now for the size of the serving you get. $4+ for a tiny blizzard. Hardly any flavors to choose from, at least compared to before. It feels more clean cut and corporate when you walk in. The menus are different and it doesn't feel local anymore. What happened?I don't know if I'll go back to this location. It's sad because I've been going there off and on since I was a little kid. Now it feels like the owner retired and it was taken over and made corporate. Maybe they were forced to do it by the Dairy Queen overlords, but it's not as fun anymore. My advice is at least lower the prices or make the cup sizes bigger. It's not worth it to me anymore.

Always good to enjoy ice cream. I usually get a big twist ice cream cone and my wife gets a small Sunday, which looks bigger than small. We enjoyed it very much.

As usual Dairy Queen ice cream is good.

The girls behind the counter were working hard to keep customers moving and fill their orders. The mango slushie was an excellent choice on such a hot day. It was very nice of the DQ to allow CMA to set up an aide/water station for all the bikers heading to/from Gettysburg Bike Week. That is very much appreciated!

Great ice cream as usual. The peanut buster parfait with just Peanut sauce was awesome.

Excellent tasting ice cream. I've eaten at this Dairy Queen since it opened in 1955. Still has the high quality and taste as always.
This Dairy Queen location is a dessert only location no regular meals such as burgers or hot dogs but the desserts here are good.My friend stopped in for a banana split while I had the Orange Julius.

Love this place. It seems to always be fairly busy, but they serve you pretty quick. My favorite is there Oreo Hot Chocolate Blizzard.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving the day. My granddaughter loves ducks. Our original plans for a cupcake cake shaped as a duck was terribly botched by the bakery. We walked into DQ on York Rd and they produced a beautiful “duck” cake on short notice. Special thanks to John and the young male server. They both went out of their way to help save the day

My favorite Dairy Queen of all time. The blizzard options are unmatched here, and the staff make them like experts every time. I grew up loving Dairy Queen, but we need more locations!
