The espresso is some of the best we've had in a long time. My husband and I stayed at the Dobbins House across the street and enjoyed stopping in for a mocha in the morning. So rich and creamy. Great service as well. We highly recommend!

Got there around 8:30am and had 1 plain bagel left and 2 types of muffins. Kind of sad food option wise. I came because I saw the pictures of food and was craving a bagel (with flavor-not plain). Barista was very nice. I got a black coffee and it was good.

Coffee was good but the scone and muffin we ordered were terrible. The muffin was dry while the scone was just a sugar bomb.
We felt bad for the poor girl working behind the counter. She was stuck working the register and preparing drinks by herself with a long line of customers almost out the door. Meanwhile, another employee was leisurely stocking shelves for seemingly no reason and someone who looked to be a manager was doing something on her laptop overseeing the whole operation.
To top it off, the place was extremely hot and uncomfortable inside.

Asked for a maple magic latte and was told they were out of maple and would caramel be ok instead. I agreed and only noticed after checking the receipt that they charged me extra for the switch without saying anything. Had I know that as going to be the case I would have gotten something else. The experience felt sneaky and dishonest.

Fascinating menu. Most interesting is the espresso soda with lemon cold foam called meringue fizz or something like that. Very nice staff. Yes there are bathrooms (multi-person, so not much privacy for the natural response to coffee, but everyone's in the same boat anyhow.)
