Meal was just ok, but the staff are friendly and the downtown location is convenient. We ordered take away, and the burrito my daughter ordered was quite soggy from condensation by the time we got back to our hotel. I think had we eaten it there, this would be a very different review. I wasn't blown away by my steak and chicken fajitas, but the meat was cooked and seasoned well. And the giant size of guacamole I ordered was delicious! We didn't get any sour cream or salsa with our order (perhaps you have to request condiments separately?) but we did get two small containers of refried beans. The oil had settled on the top, and didn't look too appetizing, so we skipped them. We called our order in and didn't realize they had outdoor seating -- we might've eaten outside if we had known, and I think our experience would've been different. The tables are well-spaced and the eating area is a covered porch with fans, much more comfortable than the sidewalk tables thrown together by most of the eateries in town. I'll definitely give this place another try next time we're in town -- and will make a point to eat there rather than do take away. Some food just travels better than others.

Quaint little gem. Atmosphere is simple, service was great, food was outstanding. Menu offered some standard Latin dishes plus some authentic/ regional dishes. I went for the seafood chimichanga- it was awesome and was made with real crab meat and shrimp. Hubs had the Chicken Yucatan- wow, I thought he was going to lick the plate. Can't believe it took us so long to check this place out. We'll be back for sure!

I'm not sure why there is not more hype surrounding this restaurant. Amazing chips, salsa, enchiladas, fajitas, burritos, fried ice cream - any Mexican food desire you may possess. My family and I love the service provided by the employees, always sweet. Will continue to enjoy this establishment for years to come!

Amazing authentic food. And Carlos was an exceptional host. By far the best Mexican food I have ever had. The atmosphere is inviting including the music choice and volume. All in all, an exquisite dining experience and highly recommended. Will be back the next time I am in town.

Service was great and staff was very accommodating. We sat on the patio (lovely) with our toddler who also enjoyed himself. Food was awesome! We brought our own beer- always kind of nice :)

Downtown Gettysburg's hidden gem. Authentic Acapulco Mexican dishes with a delicious seasoning. I had the camarones Yucatan. Excellently grilled vegetables with lightly spiced shrimp and a side of rice. Outdoor patio puts you right in the heart of Gettysburg's town center.

Great food, though all of the salsa choices were too hot for me.

Coming from the West Coast I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. It did seem that some charges may be frivolous, yet I did not have any problems. The food and service was good. No booze available, yet they encourage byob. Btw, the guacamole was fresh and tasty! No store bought paste. Homemade

When I come to Gettysburg, I frequently eat here. The menu is basic for a small Mexican restaurant but the food is authentic, well prepared and a good value. Many places in the downtown area are very crowded and you have to wait. Because this is off the main square, people don't know about this little gem. I've had a number of items on the menu and they were all well done. You can eat on the porch or on the patio non a nice day. You won't go wrong having lunch or dinner here.
