The Farnsworth House Inn offers beautiful, clean rooms with historic charm, making it a great place for fans of history. The inn is conveniently located near a battlefield, national cemetery, and shops, enhancing the experience. Guests can enjoy a great breakfast and comfortable accommodations, including the Lincoln room and Sara Black room. While the rooms have a historic aspect that many guests adore, some may seem old and worn. Unique original art can be found in the rooms, adding to the charm. The inn is known for its haunting stories, offering opportunities for ghost hunts that include the attic where the sniper that killed Jennie Wade was located and the basement where Confederates were buried, said to be haunted by a General. It is centrally located to attractions in Gettysburg, with most sites within a 5-10 minute walk. The food is very good, and the atmosphere is nice, with both fine dining and pub options available, making it highly recommended for a memorable stay in Gettysburg. The staff is exceptional, providing great service, with friendly and knowledgeable guides.
