Parking: A dedicated parking spot (1) is right out front & I've always used that space, I normally don't have any issues for parking. If I have to walk a block or 2, it's definitely worth my time.. pastries are 5 star.

The bakery that I normally go to was closed....for some reason and I was craving a cup of coffee and something sweet. So, I decided to try the Gettysburg Baking Company.WOW! What a nice surprise! I selected a Cinnamon Raisin Twist and a Pecan Sticky Bun as well as a cup of coffee. I was surprised at the pricing until I tried the Cinnamon Raisin Twist! IT WAS SO GOOD! It was perfect! This morning I enjoyed the Pecan Sticky Bun and it was also better than any other I have had! EXCELLENT!I will make it a point of going back to try more of these tasty creations whenever I am in Gettysburg!Highly Recommended!

WOW! Just WOW! I had never been to Gettysburg Baking until yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! I selected the Cinnamon Raisin Twist, a Pecan Sticky Bun and a cup of coffee. The Cinnamon Raisin Twist was AMAZING! SO GOOD! Just what I was craving! This morning I enjoyed the Pecan Sticky Bun and it was also DELICIOUS! I am definitely going to be returning to try more of these delicious items! Highly Recommend!

The food here is so fresh and tasty! Great breakfast and lunch selections. So good we had two breakfasts and lunch here during our two day stay!

Great customer service! The cake slices were fresh. The flavor just wasn't for me and Im not sure why the bottom of the cheese cake slice was soggy at the end. The cookies were good.

Went there the other day to get a coffee and it was amazing. Spoke to the owner, very kind owner and very pleasant to speak with highly recommend the coffee. It's amazing. I am going to go back before I leave to get some baked goods because she makes everything by hand by herself, that is amazing beyond anything else give her a try it's amazing

Pastries looked fresh. Loaves looked large and crusty. Coffee was prepared quickly and as ordered. Seems like local places use less flavoring, so less sweet than the big chains, and I like this. A little dark inside and seating area was limited and a little oddly placed.

The mushroom soup is so good! And their hot pressed sandwiches are great—we had the pastrami and the Rueben. We especially love their French baguette, because it is crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, and does not kill your jaw to chew it like most baguettes do. We stock up on these when we go here. While I can’t speak to their pastries (haven’t tried them as they don’t look too appealing), their soft-baked cranberry orange cookie was very good. As was their triple chocolate cookie.

Great morning sweet treats. Spotty availability on the bread selections. Limited dining space, but we had a table. Begins the counter staff very helpful and kind.

This little bakery is really cute, there are seats along the windows in the back. It’s really cozy and quaint and a nice place to catch up with a friend. With that said, the coffee is just ok. I’ve been there twice, and I really didn’t like either drink that I got. But I love the atmosphere and the location. The little store it is attached to is a lot of fun to peruse before or after.

I rated this bakery 5 stars. The reasons why are below: Ambiance, period appropriate decor, friendly staff and the goodies. We bought an oatmeal cookie that was beyond delicious. Transports you right back to childhood at Grandma's. I also got a chocolate chip cookie, again delicious! Then my husband bought a blondie, which he deems perfection. But friend, when I tell you about the handpies...I mean, WOW JUST WOW!! We loved it! I heated mine up for around 30 seconds in the microwave and it tasted like it was fresh from the oven. Don't miss this place. It's a must!!!

Delicious sandwiches and soup! Try their pasta too. When we plan a "girls day" in Gettysburg, we've most often gone to the Gettysburg Baking Company.

Got an assortment of everything to go. Peach blueberry tart taste really good. Everything looks freshly made. A little pricey though but worth it.
