If Norman Rockwell ever painted breakfast, it would have looked a lot like the Heartland Diner in Gettysburg. Was here the other day and got a turkey roast meal but the turkey was just slices like lunch meat which isnt what I expected. The service however was great and they have other stuff I wanna try next time.
There were 6 in our party. Looks like they are used to groups our size. Waitress was excellent, took our orders promptly and made sure that drinks were refilled. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Generous sized portions. I had the Irish egg Benedict with potatoes. Really liked the combination.
Table could have been cleaner. It was clean to the eye, but you know that tacky sticky feeling?
