Terrible. Was greeted and then asked if I want red or white. I was confused when I saw whiskey bottles. The bartender came over, told me they knew nothing about whiskey and that they currently had a stomach bug and could not help with my choice but continued to ask if I wanted a shot. We ordered the whiskey shots only to find out that they were $9 a piece. The whiskey was terrible and not even made by JP. The rest of the interaction was very awkward so we left.
Of the three wineries we visited in. Gettysburg the service here was friendly and helpful, liked, I don’t go in expecting to love every wine but did find a nice blend to take home.
The presentation of the wine and samples were so fun, but several of the wines smelled and tasted like a strong acetone. We then sampled a wine we liked a 2nd time to confirm- it was great! So we bought 2 bottles, however, once we opened it at home, it was a completely different tasting wine. Not sure if it was a bad batch but we threw both bottles away.
Very sweet server named Candy, tasty cheese & popcorn for tasting. However I have to agree with others, every sampling except the house sangria (which was absolutely delicious) tasted like vinegar. Will buy a bottle of the sangria but would not return for any other wine.
Stopped by here for the first time this past weekend on Saturday with my husband, sister, and her bf. The ladies working were so helpful! We bought 2 bottles of wine. The raspberry merlot was amazing. Unfortunately my daughter dropped it getting out of the car so hoping to return soon to get another one!
We came here on a Saturday evening. We were greeted and served right away. I got a flight, they gave me one extra flight which was their sangria. I must say, out of everything that I tried, their sangria was amazing!! I bought a bottle of it because it was soo delicious and I am not a sangria type of person. So I highly recommend that drink. Prices were good as well. They gave us complimentary popcorn that was good. We did not order any food, just drank there.
Our wine tasting crew stopped by at 3:30 on a Thursday afternoon. We were given menus to choose 5 wines for our tasting. The cost was $6.00. I have to say that none of us ever leave a sample of wine. At J&P we could not drink ANY of the samples we had. Every one of them smelled like acetone and tasted as if they had been sitting for weeks. The server said she didn't understand, she had just tasted them last week. All of these were horrible. I hate writing reviews like this... We were given bowls of popcorn and plastic cups that had 2 Ritz crackers and 2 cheeses as a snack. Ugh... We are NOT snooty. This was the worst.

Great wine. Fun and friendly staff. Was greeted the second I placed my right foot in the door. He did not hesitate to ask what I wanted before I made the 80ft walk to the counter.
Very cute place. Staff is super friendly.

Layed back friendly inviorment.
My husband took me here for my birthday and what a great place! Such friendly staff that go above and beyond for their customers. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Wines are phenomenal. Will even go out of their way to tell you about other local businesses in town to visit. Highly recommended.

Worst winery I have ever been to. When we walked in, I was hit with a musty stench. Not appealing whatsoever. We sat down, the tables were wobbly and felt sticky. The glass decanters they put the water in look like they have never been washed. Not even once. The glasses were filthy. I asked for a new one and the server checked out the glass as if I was lying about it being dirty and then reluctantly brought me another one that was actually dirtier. I went to the vomit worthy restroom and washed it as best as I could. I was so skeeved out at that point and we hadn’t even gotten the wine yet. We were doing a macaron and wine pairing. The macarons came out on a dirty tray. I took a bite of one which tasted stale, and didn’t eat another one. The wines were horrific. They tasted like cleaning supplies. I have never not finished a wine tasting before, but I dumped out 3 of the test tubes because it was just that gross. All of the tubes also looked like they’ve never been cleaned, and every single wine had sediment and 2 were cloudy/had bubbles. I’m pretty sure they were serving bad wine. The only one that I actually kind of enjoyed was the tropical sangria. I almost bought a bottle until the server came over and told me it was expiring literally one week later and I should drink it before then. Sorry, but that just didn’t sound right. We left before we finished because we were grossed out, and headed straight to Adams County Winery where we had absolutely delicious wine and pizza.
Popped in while walking the Gettysburg strip. We were very pleased with their knowledge of the wine they served and our wine tasting experience overall.
