I can’t review on the food or the coffee because it was a 30 minute wait on a Friday morning at 9am in January for food. We went next door to presidents. Waited 5 mins.

Extremely overrated and overpriced. It was over $30 for two breakfast sandwiches and two lattes. The customer service unfriendly and the atmosphere was terrible, loud rock music not my thing at 9 am. Don’t waste your time or money. While the drinks and food were decent they just weren’t worth $8 a sandwich. Just my opinion but there are much better options in Gettysburg.

This was my go to spot for grabbing drinks and food on my way to the hospital most mornings! Thank you Zach and crew for always answering my 630am phone calls and putting together my strange requests. Never had a bad meal and loved all the homemade treats like your pumpkin bread :) Your garden was a delight and I took many a meeting under the canopy. All the local water colors and authors were delightful! A true locals den! Hopefully next time I can hear some live music here!!

We always seek out a local coffee/tea joint when we are visiting a town because we want to support those independent businesses that in invest in community and bring community into their walls. When you walk in it appears that Ragged Edge has all of the magic, funky decor with walls filled with local artists work for purchase, and upstairs area with game rooms, books for you to reach, and nooks that create intimacy and privacy. That said, with one person in front of us, they could not deliver on service. My husband ordered a basic bagel and I had a wrap on their standard menu. Those things which came out one at a time took forever, as did really, basic coffee and tea orders. With our meals taking 20 minutes to make and spaced like 1 5minutes apart, it was hard to capture the vibe of the environment and enjoy ourselves. We're back in Gettysburg and actually just decided that making our own coffee/tea would be the easier route, as well as, ordering from elsewhere. Lastly, I thought the food was just okay. The wrap was not well balanced, full of egg and full of pesto. I suppose each cancelled each other out, but I wasn't entirely impressed with their kitchen set up.

What a cute coffee shop! We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere on the front porch while sipping our coffee. Would highly recommend and will definitely return on our next visit.

Stopped by on a Saturday morning, ordered an iced coffee, tea, and a breakfast sandwich. I had to correct the gentleman taking our order who mistakenly added a random sandwich. After getting our drinks, 45 minutes passed as others were getting their food before ours. Most items as simple as a toasted bagel. A few local folks told us to avoid this place on the weekends, the non students run the place normally during the week. Everything in a very slow “who cares” mode. We finally said just refund us and we’ll be on our way. We had to challenge them to even look up the order and refund. And, a “slow” microwave was to blame. If we knew our breakfast sandwich would have been nuked, McDonalds would of Trumped this place. Overall very disappointing especially since we chose to stop here as opposed to the usual coffee chains.

Easily one of my favorite coffee shops. The staff are always so nice and inviting. This is a pleasant little spot in Gettysburg! The best cappuccino in the city! This place has such personable staff, and THE BEST coffee!

Nice warm latte for a cold day! I am pleased that I stopped by before we explore the wonderful Gettysburg! Highly recommended!

We really liked this small coffee shop for breakfast. Service was quick. Prices were good and food was great! The smoothies were amazing!

They were given a 2 because the coffee was Excellent (self service) but the young adult employees were less than pleasant. Oh and the cranberry bread was very dry.

We were in between tours and needed a bite to eat. This place was close by and what a pleasant surprise! The sandwiches were very good and the coffee was enjoyable on a cool day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food came up fast. We would highly recommend this place!

Was there recently in the afternoon around three pm; maybe a half dozen other customers in the restaurant. Ordered a latte and two sandwiches. If you are sitting outside, you have no way of knowing when the coffee is ready so you have to get up and go to the counter, which we had to do more than once before seeing the coffee had finally been made. Then they bring one of us a sandwich, while the other sandwich [containing similar ingredients] wasn't brought until about five minutes later. When it finally arrived it was missing the side bag of potato chips. There are many reviews elsewhere complaining about service at this joint; it seems to be a persistent problem at a place where the menu prices should allow hiring better staff.

Small place with limited menu. Didn't try the coffee, did have great smoothies. Will be back to try bagels and a few other items. Friendly staff, clean, eclectic decorations.

This place is great. The staff are friendly and remembered us each day we got our coffee. The environment is warm and welcoming. You can sit and read a book or sit on the porch and watch the world go by. Highly recommend stopping by for excellent fair trade coffee

If you can get a seat on the porch area outfront and a newspaper this is the place to be to start your day visiting Gettysburg.
