I have never left a bad review with a servers name before, but Brenda was the worst server I have ever had. We come in and the place is busy. I would say typical for a tourist breakfast spot. We found our table around 9:40 and was handed some menus. We had time to decide what we wanted to eat, while our waitress kept walking by. At one point she even went to the table next to us, that had set down after us, to get their order. They were not ready, so she came and got our drink order. I told her we were ready to order our food as well. My youngest, 10, was up first. She tried to order her drink first and Brenda rudely said to give her the food order first. Ok... Everyone else gave food order and then drink order second. She came to me and I ordered my food with gluten free bread and I asked "can you make a note of a gluten allergy?" She then said "it's gluten free bread." My response "I know, but can you inform the kitchen my meal is for a gluten allergy for cross contamination." We got our drinks and while drinking our drinks, 4 other tables were filled around us. While waiting 4 of the 5 tables (that came in after us) around us got their food. At this point we have been in the restaurant for almost an hour. I told my husband we are leaving and finding something else. As I was on the phone looking for another place around us, our food finally came out at 9:47. Food was typical breakfast diner food. Nothing special. Looking at my receipt, our order was put in at 9:21. So I don't know if she just didn't put our order in when she took our order or what happened. All I know is, it was a crappy way to end our vacation and if you get set in Brenda's section, you should move tables.

What a great place to stop and eat for cheap! The food was very reasonably priced, the restaurant was clean, and service was amazing. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Gettysburg!

The place is not clean, the male waitress has no personality. My wife ordered flounder with sweet potatoes and coleslaw. I ordered the flounder with french fries and coleslaw. They didn't have coleslaw at that time. So I ordered a salad instead and she didn't order anything else. When the food finally came, I couldn't believe the little fish that we got. It was tiny, skinny, and dry, and the sweet potatoes were horrible. I ate the fries, but we ended up paying for food we couldn't eat. So we went to Ruby Tuesday. I definitely do not recommend this place to eat.

The place is run down & dirty. Service was very slow & server had absolutely no personality. My husband & I both ordered broiled flounder. Tiny little piece of fish on plate so overcooked it was not edible. They had no cole slaw. I ordered sweet potatoes which were awful. We paid $31 for food we could not even eat.

I don't know if/why this restaurant is intentionally understaffed, but the first detractor was the number of tables that hadn't been cleared when we walked in. ("Sit anywhere" we were told - we finally found a table way in the back where there weren't existing dishes and glasses that hadn't been cleared.)

We saw two couples come in to the restaurant, look around, and then leave, as there were no clean tables available. The couple that set next to us left and their table wasn't cleared for at least 15 minutes. Seems like this would prompt a manager to get to work if there weren't enough employees, but we never saw any improvement (we were there from 0900-1030).

It took 10 minutes before our waitress (very nice, apologetic about the delay) came to the table - she was working the entire back section (15+ tables?) by herself. She was overwhelmed - she forgot part of our order and rarely had time to check back on coffee or drink refills.

There's limited (free) parking on the side of the restaurant, so we put over an hour's worth of quarters in one of the meters nearby. THIS WAS NOT ENOUGH. I had to go out to the meter and add another 20 minutes to the meter as we weren't quite finished with our meal and were never sure when we were going to see our waitress again to get the check.

If management reads these reviews, I'd recommend (1) hiring a full-time bus(person) during the busiest hours, as well more waitstaff, and (2) having someone come through to constantly refill coffee/other drinks. While the locals may like a laid-back/no rush atmosphere, this is a tourist town. No one likes waiting 5-10 minutes for the waitress, or another 10 minutes to get the check. The restaurant should be turning tables more efficiently to ensure this is a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Came here for lunch and had the best time! Soup was absolutely amazing, it's the cutest lil diner and our waitress Samm was a literal angel. Best service we could've asked for and so sweet. Will be coming back next year and hope to see her again

Been to the Lincoln many times over the last few years while visiting Gettysburg. Never had an issue there, food is good for what you pay for, portion sizes are generous and staff are nice.

Some of the interior (specifically booths) need some touch up as they're broken. But overall a nice place to eat and easily one of the best breakfast places in Gettysburg.
