We ordered our wedding cake from Sweeter than Sap and we LOVED it. Our cake was exactly what we had asked for. They were able to deliver it to our venue the day of our wedding and set it up. They also have delicious cupcakes in store!

We were in Gettysburg visiting family and stumbled on this gem! Such a cute bakery. My husband said the cupcake he had was the best he’s EVER had and I had a dark choc chip cookie and it was perfect! It was clean and the service was friendly! Id def recommend stopping in if you have a sweet tooth to satisfy!!

Everything they serve is OVER THE TOP amazing! So perfectly sweet and delicious, just an amazing small town bakery with a “big city” taste lol. If you’re in Gettysburg don’t miss out! Of course we already tried the brownie, but the eclair didn’t last for the photo haha!!

Sweeter than sap is an amazing bakery in Gettysburg! Heather is very friendly, creative, and makes one amazing birthday cake! The flavor was pumpkin with buttercream icing. Highly recommend, absolutely delicious. Heather communicated well and pickup was easy. Her staff is very friendly. The bakery was exactly what Gettysburg needed. Can’t wait to go back! Also, the cinnamon buns are amazing! Sometimes we drive up for the afternoon just to get them.

Not fresh. Assumed it would be since we were there on a Wednesday and the place was closed Monday and Tuesday. Obviously had been stored for a few days. Dry and had that old fridge taste. Disappointing.

Was at Heritage Festival yesterday and was at EJ Smokehouse and seen a Cinnamon Roll on table for $7. Cinnamon Roll is huge and taste great. I seen this place before on York St but never stopped in now I will have to stop in to try cookies etc.

10/10 must always visit when you come to Gettysburg. We used them for our wedding desserts. The process could not have been any easier or more affordable. Heather is the most kind person. She was able to help us with flavors and prices. She even allowed my mother in law to pay when she could. Do not take advantage of her generosity! She is a sweetheart. We did cake jars and were even able to pick cupcakes to use as our tasting. Everyone in our wedding party said that they were delicious and very convenient to take with them. Go to them. Use them for weddings, birthdays or just a sweet treat. You will not be disappointed.
If you love desserts, this is a place you must visit when in Gettysburg.
We bought two Cinnamon rolls along with many other goodies. Their cinnamon rolls are huge, enough for 3 or 4 people. We reheated them a day and a half later in the oven and wow- they were delicious not the least bit stale!
The ONLY thing I believe could make it better would be offering tea or coffee options.

Stopped by while while passing through Gettysburg and tried the dark chocolate seas salt cookie and it was AMAZING! also had the crookie! What a fun treat! I am now sad I can't get any more.. I wish they offered online shipping!

From the Dinner Plate size Cinnamon Rolls that melt in your mouth, Wonderful Cookies-Huge fan of Sarah’s oatmeal cranberry raisin cookies-breakfast in a cookie, her cheesecakes are so yummy & creative flavors, eclairs, cupcakes, the list goes on. For Easter we picked up a delicious coconut cake that stole the show. As a young entrepreneur, I know of no one more dedicated to her craft & her customers than Sarah. My husband and I have been customers since before this brick and mortar store. EVERY item we’ve had (and we have had almost everything Sara has made) was beyond delicious!! Her cinnamon rolls are to die for, her cheesecakes are exquisite, the cookies are absolutely delicious, the cupcakes are amazing and what I like most about the cupcakes is she ALWAYS has a variety of flavors and the icing is so very good. Her chocolate mousse parfaits are DELECTABLE!! Her tiramisu is scrumptious, the pumpkin rolls around the holidays are the best I’ve ever tasted. Now, the chocolate eclairs surpass anything I have ever had!! Her strawberry shortcakes undeniably delicious!! You just can’t go wrong buying anything from Sweeter than Sap!!
