Amazing find! We had Gettysburg Baking Co. on our list but didn’t realize they would be closed on Sunday. So I pulled up other bakeries and saw Sweeter than Sap and read her reviews! This is such a great bakery. Very clean, neat, organized, and of course smelled amazing when we walked in. We had some tough decisions to make! I got the tiramisu bites and baklava, my boyfriend got a brownie and cinnamon bun. The baklava was soooo delicious and the perfect balance of sweet and crunchy! Seriously, I wish I grabbed 3 more slices!

I stopped in for the first time right around thanksgiving, this place is so popular even with limited hours that the only thing remaining and they're attractive pastry display case was a few crumbs. I smiled and said I'll be back after the holidays!
So happy I went back, the chocolate eclair is a thing of joy. Overstuffed, oozing with cream, so much chocolate sticks on your fingers and lips and you will gladly lick it off, expensive, but it's good for three desserts.
Immaculate shop, very pleasant and helpful staff, they do sell out so whatever it is you want, get there early!

I had been following Sweeter Than SAP for a while now, but tonight I was finally able to check them out for their cinnamon roll bar. The place was packed and had a line out the door, but the staff knew what they were doing. They had three staff stationed along the counters filling orders, maintaining their station of 6 flavors each. You didn't want one of the first six, you got handed off to the next staff member. You wanted two from the first, she'd grab them and hand you off.
Then they had two people refilling trays and the rolls got low, and a fifth person working the register. No cross contamination of touching food then handling money.
Best part - these rolls are TO DIE FOR. I drove 2 hrs from work to pick them up, and then an hour and a half home. I will do this every time they have their cinnamon roll bar! Can't wait to try what else they have!

Outstanding bakery and owner, Sara O'Brien. Her cinnamon buns and chocolate eclairs are the best I've ever had. I recently requested a special order of pfeffernusse cookies and Sara came through with an excellent version of this German treat. Customer service is also top notch and a family affair as Sara's Mom is heavily involved and makes sure customers are treated well.
