I always love going here to eat when I’m in Gettysburg but the last time I went here to eat outside, I had my mini golden doodle with me and wasn’t even aloud to eat here with my dog outside. The waitress said it was due to people bringing dogs and them fighting with other dogs. We went across the street and ate at blue gray and were not turned away there. I think if a dog is being disruptive then by all means ask them to leave but when there are no issues and you turn customers away is why I will not be back!

We hadn’t been to The Pub in quite some time- tbh, after Covid the place seemed to have gone downhill and we gave up. Boy, am I glad we went back tonight! I had the Mahi Mahi. It came with rice and veggies and I expected a clump of each, but it was a really nice blend of both and really tasty! The avocado drizzle? You could have served it by itself and given me a straw, it was so good! My husband got a cup of their vegetarian chili (soooo good!) and their meatloaf. He’s not a fan of blue cheese, but even with the crumbles incorporated into the meat mixture, he really enjoyed it. Tim, our bartender and server (we sat at the bar) was fantastic, and while he was really busy, still made time for a little small talk. They even accommodated a special request from my husband, which we vowed to not disclose, but the point is that they go the extra mile to make their customers happy! Our only complaint was that my husband’s Manhattan, which was made with a top shelf bourbon, was still a bit overpriced at $20. However, the bourbon was smooth and he really enjoyed it. Glad to finally have a go-to place in Gettysburg where we know we can get a good meal! Our bill was about $87 including his Manhattan, and three glasses of wine between us. Don’t judge! Lol!

A lovely experience at The Pub. Delicious food and drinks, friendly staff. No wait on a busy Saturday evening. The mozzarella sticks were great, the American chicken sandwich was good, and the sweet potato fries were amazing. Super happy with our choice to dine here while visiting town.

So they normally have Home made Potato Chips with their Burger and Sandwiches. Today they were out and only served APPLESAUCE. Really??? A Burger and Applesauce?? If you wanted fries it was an additional $4.00!!!

Not very friendly type of atmosphere, bartender was quick and rude. Acted like she didn’t have time for us ,being that we were the only two at the bar? Don’t understand that, finally had to speak up loud to see if I could get her attention to get our check, she slapped it down on the bar and didn’t even say thank you. I guess she didn’t like being interrupted because she never came over to us once while we were there the entire time having a sandwich and drinks probably would’ve had a couple of more and maybe some shots and maybe order another appetizer . My thought is, she didn’t feel like making any money so we didn’t leave her any, she certainly didn’t deserve it,especially the way she slapped our bill on the bar and puffed away. I guess Miss thing doesn’t need to make any extra money. We’re not worth her time. Well, it won’t be worth our time to revisit any more
