I decided to get the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. It was okay. I came here with a large party and they weren't overly impressed with their meals either. However, the service was great for a party of 12!

"The Pub" is a solid 3 stars ? ? ?I've been here a couple times and unfortunately, it's declining. I believe this is due to management (owner)I am completely beside myself at the experience I just had. I honestly can't believe I had an interaction so awkward and unprofessional.I'll start with the food and service prior to the discrepancy (which, if you read the reviews, you will find a lot of similar reviews)FOOD: it's 50/50.You really don't know for sure if you will like what you order. This restaurant makes weird choices for ingredients. READ THE MENU CAREFULLY. If you dislike your $16 - $20 dish, oh well. You will NOT be compensated, and your meal will not be replaced. If you're in the mood for a gamble, roll the dice at "The Pub".-Their Frensh onion soup waswatered down.Their coffee was watered down-They put whole rings of onions on their house salad. Have fun chopping them down to an edible portion without your salad being all over the table.-They put chocolate on some of their beef dishes- Good dishes: Brisket sandwich, sweet potato fries, vegetables, their cocktails are good.NOTE: Again, you will NOT be compensated... just read the other reviews and like clockwork, you'll find this validated.SERVICE: I just hope you luck out with a good waiter. The first time we came, excellent service! This time, total flop! Again, I'm not judging all the waiters here, just my experience:They open at 12pm. My wife and I were waiting outside for them to open. We saw two young employees walking quite haistly towards the restaurant. Keep in mind at this time it was 11:58am. As they passed us, they were joking about being early and how they still had 2min to spare. One of those was the host and the other, our soon to be waitress. As we checked in, there was the "Lead" (I guess) laying out the day to the host that had just walked in. They were discussing how they haven't heard from one of the other staff members yet and would presumably be understaffed.... they both looked frustrated. The host was awesome, though! He was personable, engaging, nice, welcoming. When we sat down we were visited by a couple people that said, "your waiter will be with you shortly" keep in mind we are the only customers so far. I suspect the only reason we were not served as fast is because our waitress had just walked in the door with the host a couple min ago and had to get ready. The waitress, was nice. She was not engaging, or as welcoming as the Host. You could just tell this was going to be a bad day. Sure enough, the Pub got crowded and the typical items that were supposed to be kept up on were forgotten about (i.e. water)With no regards leading up to this point, "the Pub" was already tracking a 3.5 star establishment. The issue: I had not realized that they put Chocolate on their "black and blue" burger. When I ordered the burger, which everyone would agree is a burger with blue cheese, the waitress said," now this sandwich does come with blue cheese, is that okay?" I said, yeah! I love blue cheese. Now when the burger came out like an hour later, I had to wait for my water to be refilled. By the time my water was refilled and she had left, I finally was able to take a bite of the burger. BOOM! SURPRISE! We have chocolate, folks! In my head, I was like "you can't be serious" someone poured Hershey chocolate all over my burger!!! when she got there she asked if everything was okay. I said, is there supposed to be chocolate on this burger? she said Yes! That's what the black is in "Black and Blue" Dumbfounded, I said No, the black is the charded burger. I was fine with my fate.Whatever, this woman randomly showed up at our table and was just staring at us. Like someone random walked off the street dressed in jogging clothes, just staring at us. It was the owner! Most awkward feeling! She didn't even introduce herself, and why was she just standing at our table staring at us, we didn't even ask to

This place was amazing. They gave everyone free shirts, and they were just the best place I’ve ever ever been to my life. This was the best seed ever been. I’ve been to Gordon Ramsay‘s homemade kitchen, and it was horrible compared to this.

The meal I ordered was pretty good but the bar tender had no idea how to make a Moscow mule. It's a pretty basic cocktail so I'm not sure what the issue was. If I had to guess sour mixed was used instead ginger beer, it was served in a small tumbler glass and with no ice. Also the booth we were sat at was very dim and I had to use my phone light to see the menu. I still enjoyed my visit and I'm willing to try again sometime in the future.

What a disappointment! Corned beef on Rueben was dry and had a strange taste. After waiting over 20 minutes for the manager, she stated as far as she was concerned it was fine. No offer of a replacement and was told she would only do 50% off on the sandwich. Will definately not be going back again!

We stopped in on a Saturday early evening and sat at the bar. We had some drinks and food. They have a full bar selection. Lots of good options on the food menu as well. Everything was good. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. The building is pretty cool - it looks very old but not sure how long it has been here. It’s right on the square in Gettysburg so it’s street parking. Depending when you go, be prepared to walk a bit if you can’t find a spot nearby. There is plenty to see though with in a couple blocks and it’s very walkable. Check out the rest of town and stop in for lunch/dinner.Parking: Parking ease depending on day/time you go. Street parking can be hard to find at times but that town is very walkable.

Please bring back the Hawaiian chicken sandwich. You lost me as a customer from cutting that from your menu when Covid hit, but now all that is over. You have other chicken sandwiches on your menu now, so why not bring back what was the absolute best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Once I see that back on the menu, I will come back there to eat.

We happened to spot this place as it is right across the street from our hotel. We walked in for what would be an early dinner and were greeted right away and taken to our booth. Our server arrived promptly and was very friendly throughout the entire visit. I ordered a cup of their tomato bisque soup (offered on Wednesdays) which has cream cheese in it. It was delicious! Their cup of soup is larger than most places and felt almost like a bowl. I also ordered the patty melt, medium well. It was cooked just right and was nice & juicy. The rye was toasted to perfection. Get the beer battered fries with it, you won't regret it. The atmosphere in the place when we were there was pretty quiet as there weren't many other guests. They do have a bar with multiple TVs so I'd wager during sporting events it may be pretty loud.

Had been coming here for 20 years.. In the bar area, wasn’t busy at all, service was lackluster in the afternoon…A change of shift and a bill from the waitress to settle up immediately who was going off which we did (to get her tip) and then never served again..we left to go to the blue and gray which was packed…we never will go back..

I've been going here for 15 years. It's always been one of my favorites, and the mojitos in the summer time are amazing. They are seasonalParking: It's in the square and it's paid parking. There is a parking garage down the street behind the Lincoln hotel.Wheelchair accessibility: It's not wheelchair friendly because the bathroom are upstairs with no elevator, plus it's a very crowded restaurant.

We had a great experience as a family here. The dining room was cozy, and all the staff were helpful and attentive to the fact we had the little ones with us. The pitcher of the Red Sangria was delicious and we can’t wait to come back some time to check out the bar side! The food was great as well.
