Some items can be made vegan. The building is neat and the employees are very friendly. Updated from previous review on 2025-02-24
Perfect place during a winter day in January #Veganuary

Came here with the wife for some brunch. The food and coffee were excellent. There was only one person working when we ordered and a line was forming. It took some time getting our meal but I won't deduct anything for that, she was working hard and made excellent quality meals. I hope the owner knows she can use some help, because you do have quality food here. I'd definitely come back.

There aren't enough stars to give to this place! We are vegan and spent the weekend in Gettysburg. We passed by here while exploring the town and took a glimpse at their menu outside. We were so happy to see that there were vegan options!
Hubby came back the next day and ordered the bagel with peanut butter which he really liked.
He boasted about the food so much that we went back for lunch and I got the vegetable hummus wrap along with the peanut butter banana smoothie (Jack and Jill). The smoothie absolutely melted in my mouth! The sandwich was delicious!
The staff is so friendly!
On our last day in Gettysburg, we decided to go back and get the same thing to go for the ride back to Philly! We once again enjoyed our food while traveling home.

Great food options, as we are vegan, found it on Happy Cow. The smoothies, wraps and veggie burgers did not disappoint.
Lots of local artwork to look at and purchase if interested as well as sponsored events in the area.
Keep walking to the back as there’s an outdoor seating area and garden.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We come here every time we are in Gettysburg for breakfast, every morning! The baked oatmeal is our go-to each time and the baked goods are awesome. Cream cheese coffee cake was great heated as a breakfast appetizer. The owners and staff are personable and great to chat with. It’s what a cozy coffeehouse should be.
Had been looking forward to dining here, but when we walked in the door AN HOUR before closing time yesterday, the brown haired woman immediately announced, “The kitchen is closed!” If the kitchen is closed, then why is your door open? Why is management allowing an employee to close down the business to paying customers an hour before closing time?

I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but my lord. Went with my family on Wednesday 10/03/2024. We were looking forward to having lunch here, as we’d never been. Walked in the door at 2:15pm. The woman working said, “The kitchen is ready closed.” We asked what time they close, and she informed us 3pm. So… why is your kitchen already shut down 45 minutes before your restaurant closes? By this point, we’d driven 25 minutes from Hanover, paid for street parking, and wrangled a baby into his stroller. We walked a couple of doors down to the coffee shop on the corner. Over the next 20 minutes, we saw 4 other groups of people walk into Ragged Edge and then turn around and leave empty handed. That’s bad business. If you need to close early, put a note on the door and update FB.

Chai Latte was mediocre. Grocery store milk, premade tea from fridge. Complete disappointment. Take a look at Gateau Monique in Littlestown if you want excellence.

Good espresso drinks, decent breakfast sandwiches. The bagel for my egg sandwich was not the best, but again...decent. Parking easy in the morning.
