From my experience, the atmosphere was beautiful when we walked in. They also have games in the back like ski ball and a few others, which was a nice touch. We ordered the calamari, but it was way too crispy, it tasted over-fried and lost most of its flavor. The pizzas are pretty big for one person, and mine was good. Overall, though, I don’t think I’d go back. It’s also on the pricier side.

I never leave reviews but the service was unbelievably slow. We kept having to ask for our food and drinks. All we ordered was appetizers and it took over an honor. All the servers seemed confused and management is obviously not involved. Such a bad experience!! We frequent Gettysburg but we will never be back to upper crust! We also heard from around town that management pays for good reviews, so don’t believe anything positive you hear! The bathroom was also disgusting!

We sat at the bar when it was quite slow. The bartender never looked our way, we waited over 30 minutes before she finally checked in with us that we decided to take our check for our 1 drink instead of ordering food. We had asked to have a TV changed to watch a football game and the manager made it a point to seem aggravated. We thanked her and she just walked away. Terrible service for over priced food.

We’ve enjoyed excellent food and service every time we’ve visited Upper Crust and Borough BBQ! Having 2 different menus offers so many delicious favorites, definitely the best pizza and pulled pork around. This time we tried the ribs - and we loved them! Generous portions, tender, and the sauce was amazing! Sweet, smoky, and just enough kick! We highly recommend them - rib lovers will not be disappointed!! Betty Davis

Came here for late lunch early dinner today and it was fantastic!! Served was Cheyenne, she was amazing and accommodated us wanting to sit near the games. She was very attentive and caring. Food was fabulous, the smoked chicken pizza and pretzel Mac and cheese balls were a hit all around the table, overall such a great experience!!!

My favorite place to eat with friends. Every pizza is great in their own way, but I LOVE the brisket. I also love the apps; the pretzel mac and cheese and perogis are my go-tos. The space is very open (not claustrophobic or tight) and servers are lovely

Everything at The Upper Crust is fantastic! I highly recommend the arugula pizza, it's my all-time favorite!
Not receptive to non-local groups. We have been coming here once a year for years but this time as our small group walked up the staff told us the kitchen was closing at 8pm. The front door and the Google Maps have the kitchen closing at 9pm. No explanation offered…. Truly appeared as if they don’t want to serve us.

Service is crap, food was wrong, added sides added to our bill. We sat for 10 minutes before having to get someone to take our order. .... I ordered the nc bbq sandwich with no cole. slaw. What I received was a BBQ sandwich with coleslaw slaw and a side of fried that added 6 bucks to our order. We just assumed the fries came with the sandwich like most places do. We sent the BBQ back due to having coleslaw on it. Got the replacement and it was like a base bbq, zero vinegar/ mustard nc taste. Th bbq was good if you want just a pork sandwich. Told server we the errors coleslaw added and charged for fries we didn't order. Her response was sorry and continued to charge us for the fries. Good scam they got going on there. Wife ordered the burger. That is all you get ... a burger .... no chips or fries, that made us question why I had fries and she got nothing but a burger. It cost us 40 bucks $6.00 of that being for an item we did not ask for. This is your scam alert notice. We were visiting Gettysburg and when we return there, this place will be a no no. Never again. I marked no wait for a table as we joined our group who got there 5 minutes before us. But we waited 10-15 minutes to get a drink and place our order. Server then had to be flagged down just to get our bill. No check up on refills or to check on how we are doing. We looked at other reviews and they basically stated they has similar experiences there.
