The Wendy's restaurant in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is a SAD place-- terrible customer service, dirty inside of restaurant, filthy on the outside, and it’s quite evident that this Wendy’s store location is very poorly run operation!

waited first in line for 25min to place an order and ended up leaving because they didn’t take the order and didn’t seem to care about their terrible service. Also the establishment was filled with flies.

If I was able to I would give no stars I would. There is a huge wait every time I am here. The young men beside me waited 20 mins to order ice cream before leaving. They need more help more organization because there is no cashier and a line out the door waiting to order.

Fast food? Nah. Very slow. Will take you 30 minutes (at least) to get through the drive through, every time. Don’t know what is going on inside this place, but management needs to change.

If I could give zero stars I would.. the service by the crew was terrible and the management doesn’t seem to care about the quality of customer service their staff provides. The store is filthy.. anyone with a servsafe certification on their wall that is employed here should maybe be retested.. i dont know how their corporate, if they have one, allows this store to stay open.. 😬

We were at a steampunk weekend in Gettysburg area and we were looking for something cold and were hunger. So we went to Wendy’s in Gettysburg, York location. Ordered two frostys my wife got a small Wednesdays one and I ordered a medium vanilla with caramel. They said that we were out of vanilla. So I said that chocolate with Carmel would be fine, but I got a small one and I reorder it as a medium. When I got it, ot was chocolate only!
We noticed that the dining room was very dirty, the tables were not cleaned, food and other paper items were on the floor. Behind in the kitchen preparation area there was food on the floor and employees were not wearing gloves.
Under the reviews that which I have read for this Wendy’s has bad reviews and inconsistencies of orders. I asked the gentleman behind the register if the salads were fresh, he said yeah, sort of was not sure. I asked him a second time he said the same thing.
My wife ordered a Cobb salad. Some of the lettuce was bad and was warm.
I ordered a Apple pecan salad and was warm.
Someone needs to come to this location and retrain a lot of the employees on how to handle food, working in the dining room, make sure inventory is plentiful

Not well maintained the atmosphere got one star because the tables are not clean floors and I clean the rural area was not clean but the only saving grace that was there is the fellow behind the cashier at first I had asked one of the managers to fix my sandwich but she totally ignored me but the person that work behind the cashier fix my order and he looked very concerned that my order was not made right but he had made it right and I appreciate that remember when you were a manager or a supervisor do not ignore your customers like you did today

In my opinion, the staff were ok. It was just dirty everywhere inside and sort of smelled like urine to me. I couldn’t sit in there and enjoy the meal because of that reason.

we spent 45 minutes just trying to place and receive our very simple to go order. Not a single person working seemed to care. Not only were things slow but they messed up several orders (including ours) multiple times. This was supposed to be a quick stop in the middle of a long drive and instead became a frustrating and long endeavor.

It's pretty dirty. The staff were not friendly at all. I've been here one other time about a year ago, but that time, the guy stole $20 of my $50 bill at the drive-thru. I figured we would just go in this time. We will mot go to this Wendy's.

$38 for 2 kids and 1 adult. Outrageous! Like Burger King, the hamburgers shrunk. Food wasn't too bad . Kids only ate half of theirs, so it must have been less than. Place wasn't busy... bit messy in the dining room.

Messed up my order TWICE??! It seems like the employees there don’t know how to make their own breakfast sandwiches.
Anything they can throw in the microwave seems to be fine, but when I ordered a number one breakfast sandwich and a number nine breakfast sandwich, they did not have give us any bacon on either. the other sandwich I received was sausage egg and cheese muffin instead of the bacon egg and cheese on a muffin as requested.
when I went inside to get the re-order of the same two sandwiches that were messed up. i instead received my number one missing cheese this time, and for whatever reason a bacon and egg on a croissant, missing cheese and not a muffin.. very disappointing to say the least. please re educate your employees on how to make sandwiches. it’s not that hard, i guarantee it. Plenty of employees in the morning to be helping out and making sure things are going smoothly. also for being the only person in the drive thru, to mess up an order like that is insane. i can only imagine what it’s like for the earlier birds.
Another thing i noticed was how disrespectful some of the employees are. constantly talking down on the customers while they are in the lobby. not very professional or polite, especially when the person is standing right in front of you. The only good part about this experience was being greeted at the second window in the drive thru.
