I grew up in Gibsonia, and moved into Squirrel Hill a decade ago. It makes me so happy to see a place like this open up, and bring a different type of food to the area. I went here with friends tonight, and was so impressed with everything. The service was great, the owner is so sweet, and I can not talk more highly of the food. This is a huge asset to the area and I wish them nothing but success.

Emily's is a GEM! The smells, the flavor, and the service, this place is 5 stars all around! The lamb is amazing and cooked to perfection. We had to order more hummus to go because it was so tasty! Love this cozy place; owner/service is fantastic. We usually get the mixed grill plate and favorites are lamp chop and chicken kabobs, so tender! Meats are marinated, seasoned and grilled perfectly. Picture is of appetizer sampler, always forget to include pix of entrees bc they get devoured so quickly! Great local business offering comfort food with slight ethnic twist!

Fantastic food and knowledgeable staff. The falafel was perfect along with the hummus and pita. The mixed grill platter had a huge variety of meats. Very authentic. So happy we found this place! Highly recommend it. Also, lots of vegetarian options and staff is very knowledgeable about dietary issues.

Still dreaming about the hummus days later! And the fresh pita was a perfect complement to it. Absolutely delicious. The lamb melts in your mouth and the veggies were amazing. The seasonings were spot on. And the baklava was so so good! Highly recommend! Cannot wait to go back and try something new from their menu. Hands down, the best.Parking: Maps was a little off - right building, wrong side of the building. The entrance is around back with lots of parking. You can't see that from the main road.
Recently discovered this place. Excellent home-cooked type food & atmosphere! Large portions. Family run & all family members are terrific! Friendly & efficient. Our party of 4 shared an outstanding sample appetizer. We all ordered chicken, lamb, beef or meatballs so we tasted everything. BEST lamb I ever had and I usually don't care for lamb. Spices are spot on. I highly recommend this hidden gem on Rt 8, Gibsonia.Parking: Entry is along the back of the building so Park behind the building.
