Pine Creek Public House- Gibsonia

Stopped for breakfast this morning. Left very disappointed. Home fries seemed old and reheated, bacon had a greasy film on it, like it was heated in a fryer. Just lazy cooking.

The good: -Easy to find a seat -Great beer and beer selection -Good service The bad: -Food was HORRIBLE- mashed potatoes tasted like Idahoan. Charged an extra $1, even though they were listed as a regular side on the menu? DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK! My fault. Should have known. -Charged a fee for credit card for a $70 bill (for a burger/ New York Strip steak that looked and tasted like it was boiled before thrown on the grill to warm it up / kids cheeseburger) without warning. -My son put money in the golf game- another waste of $4. You can’t see the screen. There is a reason there is no one there unless you are there for a few drinks, as it would be a good place for Happy Hour.

Genuinely awful experience. Walk in to a sign that says to take a menu and get your own table, fine. I can understand they're short staffed. Only 2 other people seated at another table when my friend and I got there. (Should have been our clue to go elsewhere, but I thought it may be good.) We both ordered a "small plate" meal and a soft drink. The food was cold, despite being served in a cast iron skillet and on a wood tray/holder, and forget it if you think you're going to get a refill. Not sure what the deal is there, but I wouldn't recommend it and won't be trying this place again.

Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant (which is more like the left side of the building, as the other side is the parking lot for Anytime Fitness).

Place was empty for a Friday night, our beers did not taste right, table beside us even complained about their beer as well. Food was Eh,. claim to be old Kretzels fish sandwich, it's not as good. Burger was nothing special, tasted like a frozen patty burger. For being dead on a Friday night food took awhile to out. Had a much better experience at the Allison Park location.

Italian hoagie was overloaded with onions. Bbq chicken breast was tough. French fries weren't cooked enough. An attempt at a chopped salad where cucumber, tomato,onions chopped small with big pieces of lettuce. Overall food was very poor.food rating should be one star.. Not even close to the quality of food at the original meet per on babcock.

Wife and I stopped in on Wednesday evening, both of us had the fish sandwich, generous size on the fish, and had a few drinks with meals. Waitress (Nikki)did a great good, food, drinks & checking on us ??

We very much enjoyed salads. They were both very tasty along with the onion soup.

The bison burger was delicious as well as the impossible burger. The fries were very good as well.

There are a lot more/different menu items than when the previous establishment was in operation.

We did call ahead for seating since we had a large group that they accommodated nicely.

I would recommend this new restaurant for your gatherings. There is pool and a bar.

Atmosphere and service average. Food was literally the worst I have had out in a few years. Brisket not edible. Onion rings dripping grease. No way this place stays in business more than a year. Saturday night 7:30pm……literally two tables full in the whole place.

Do not go here. You will 100% be dissatisfied.

Food was literally inedible. Multiple hairs in my wife’s salad. Brisket may as well have been rubber. Waitress was nice, but literally worst meal I have had in years. AVOID AVOID
