Glassport diner is a nice local place in the Mon Valley. The staff, the food, and experience is great. If you have a chance to stop down and check out their specials for the day daily. I hope they consider longer hours in the evenings and new food options eventually.

Cozy little diner with very pleasant staff and food. Really good prices, too; feels like you went back in time ten years. I had a steak breakfast special for 10.99 and it was better than some of the steakhouses I've been to. Will definitely be back.

Never had any issues with going in but guess they don't do take out orders by phone. Just tried to place a order for an omelette to go and just left phone off the hook on me when asked if I can get an order to go...

Im all about giving an honest review. Stopped in last Friday for breakfast. We sat at the counter. Took a couple minutes to get a menu, no big deal. But was 10 mins or so till she took our order. I had a omelet and my son, eggs and bacon. Pretty simple I thought. Well I got my breakfast relatively quick. Around 8 to 10 mins. I finished almost my entire breakfast before my son even got his meal. The food was excellent and fair price. Around $40 bucks with the tip. Also we were never offered refills on our drinks. They definitely need to work on the service end of the business. The food was very good tho.

I would love to give this diner a better rating, but it's just not there for me. My last time there (a few days ago) was just disappointing. We ordered breakfast omelet, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast the regular. I asked for green peppers, mushrooms, onions and cheese in my omelet... well lets say the cook that day felt like making it with their own twist I guess. I received an huge omelet with a tiny square of cheese on top and it was FILLED with spinach and I believe tomatoes .. didn't have time to ask for a new one since our order for three took over 30 minutes. Thank God I like spinach but it was still a disappointment. I probably won't return for a while.
