Del Pez Mexican Gastropub Glen Mills

We usually love Del Pez. They changed the menu a little and the kids did not like the churros. They preferred the waffles from before. The Guac and corn chowder were excellent. The sushi roll was not really that good. Barely any avocado and not a good flavor. Overall it was OK. The Kids love the Bento meals. Switch back to the waffles please.

We loved celebrating a birthday at Del Pez. The food was great but some of the flavors were a bit different than I'm used to. Thus the 4 stars. Our server was amazing and even noticed we were celebrating and brought a birthday dessert. Great staff.

The best thing was the margarita! The guacamole was very bland. The chips with the salsa were very salty. I ordered tacos the steak was very tough. My friend ordered some soup that came out cold. The waitress was not as attentive towards the end after we received our food we hardly seen her. It was a very mid experience in my opinion & will choose another place to dine for Mexican. I was pretty excited when I saw the decor 10/10 & they had trivia night which seemed fun but definitely not driving an hour to eat here again.

The dinners took about 20 minutes to get to our table. I had the shrimp and spinach enchiladas. It included 3 enchiladas (big portion) in a creamy tomatillo sauce. It was tasty. My wife ordered the blackened tuna special with mashed potatoes, for $30. It arrived at room temperature. It seemed that it had not been cooked fresh for the order. It had no crust on top (asked for seared rare). The potatoes were barely warm, and seemed like they were microwaved just before being served. The server didn't return to ask about our food until close to us finishing up. At that point it wasn't worthwhile saying anything negative about her food.

We loved our time at Del Pez!! From the time we walked in and met the host/ bartender to the end of our visit we were treated fantastic! The were rolling out their new brunch menu (yum!!!), but still had lunch option available. Our server Erin was witty, great with suggestions, awesome with kids, and always keeping us topped off with drinks and whatever we needed. The salmon was delicious, the margaritas outs of this world, and the tacos of course are always a hit. The kids meal is soooooo reasonably priced and you get a ton of food for the value. We will always be back to Del pez❤️ Try the dip sampler it’s our fav! Thanks for such a wonderful lunch!

Maddie was fantastic! Food was awesome - only thing was no octopus or Mahi other than that slam dunk! Brisket fries were to die for!

It’s an interesting restaurant that gives off strong Mexican vibes, but their menu has a wide variety. I thought this would be great, especially with kids, but nothing we ate was really good or had me wanting to come back. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, but not memorable and we stuck to tacos, enchiladas, guacamole, and margaritas.
